When is Monrovia reopening? The food here is fire and been waiting for restaurant to come back. Haven’t found any fish that’s a match for this place ??

Edit: My original review was left over 4 weeks ago. There was no notice of temporary or permanent closure at the time of our visit — I make a habit of checking business hours of operation prior to making long commutes. Unfortunately, we didn’t know that the establishment was closed until after we had walked all the way upstairs and read the notice that was stuck to the window of this restaurant. There was no mention at all of any plan to reopen or a change of location. I look forward to this place reopening its doors, so that I may update my review; however, based solely on the feedback I received from my first review, it seems that the chef is very rude and combative. Change my mind. ?

Great food. Great service. Great music. But there isn't much of a crowd. Most people ordered food to go. Perfect place to throw a party.

If you want good, authentic Liberian/West African food, then go to Monrovia Lounge. Very friendly atmosphere with good music.
