Traditional Liberian Cuisine
Jollof Rice
First invented in Senegal, this assortment of protein with veggies and rice is number in Africa. The Liberian version has a bit of Cajun jambalaya influence, altogether this is a very delicious combo.
Seafood Peppered Soup
Stock-based liquid, filled with habaneros and chili peppers, and seafood and or meat. Pair with fufu. Specify whether you want seafood or goat meat.
Attiekke
Made from fermented grated cassava steamed, paired with fried fish and fresh veggies.
Palm Butter
Made from palm fruit, the fresh fruit is strained for its butter, and cooked with fresh and or dehydrated protein. Pair with rice or fufu.
Cassava leaves
Yucca leaves, savory with spices and protein
Palava Sauce
Commonly called Molokhia or Egyptian spinach by other cultures, these slippery leaves are cooked like a stew, adding red palm oil and selected protein (s). Pair with rice or fufu.
Liberian Pepper Sauce (1 Jar)
Habanero peppers, other garden veggies, dehydrated fish products, and other ingredients, puree and fried with vegetable oil. Spicy.
Goat Meat Pepper Soup
Goat meat in broth with peppers served with fufu or rice.
Beniseed (Sesame Seed Butter)
Sesame seed, or beniseed as it's commonly called in West Africa, it's processed by first roasting the seeds, then pureeing into a butter, mostly eaten with West African fufu and soup.

As the only Liberian restaurant in Dallas, 5 stars. The shopping center and building itself isn't first-class, but as a Liberian myself, the food here is the real deal. I had dry rice, cassava leaf (for take out) and fried plantains. My husband, who is American, tried their food for the first time and was VERY impressed. The owners are down to earth and everything was served with clean silverware. Worth a visit at least once if you are curious.

I WISH I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE 100 STARS! LETS TALK ABOUT THE VIBE FIRST! It was so nice and chill! They had some great music playing! We were greeted as soon as we walked into the place!
