Incredible meal! Wonderful service !!! Adrian was so articulate and helpful explaining the menu and we ordered perfectly. It was a pleasure to be here and we will be back as soon as possible. Standouts/ our collective favorite was the Watermelon Scallop! Don't sleep on this! The Ravioli was phenomenal - and also the mixed mushrooms with the garlic noodles is a must have!

Always an excellent meal. The flavors and creativity are unlike any where else in Dallas. Definitely a favorite spot. Our server, Mata, was also a highlight of our evening.

Mot Hai Ba has been a usual for me since day one. Sometimes the restaurant is a total hit, and other times they miss the mark. On this visit, I was a bit surprised: our appetizers came out in random order, that did not make sense to our palette or the scale of the food, cocktails didn't arrive until after our second bite, and the scallop watermelon salad felt confusing and lacked character. That said, I'll always continue to be a guest here. There are certain menu items that consistently win me over and keep me coming back.

The best vibe! Local and quaint .. excellent food and our server knew just how to guide us through our impromptu decision to let him select a tasting menu. Wine list is easy going -- no grand crus here but a short by the glass list served us well. We will be back soon !

Our first time visiting, and we can't wait to return! The amazing dishes were only surpassed by the excellent service. Best branzino I've ever tasted, fantastic oysters and don't even get me started on the garlic noodles! Craft cocktails are next level, and loved the variety of the tea selections.

Food is phenomenal!!... service was outstanding, everything was exceptional until we got the check noting the “credit card transaction fee”. Although it is a nominal fee, seeing it slapped on the check left us with a bad taste. It just seemed tacky. Customers do not want to feel “nickeled & dimed”. The average credit card processing fee is about 2.5% .... and frankly I'd rather pay $19.48 (reg $19) for your squash blossoms than see a “credit card transaction fee” on my bill.

The lack of kindness, hospitality and professionalism is cause for a lower rating. Our party of five was seated at a four topper, even with assurance they had room for all of us (and a reservation made three days prior). We were the first dinner guest of the evening and we had the worst table in the restaurant. We were seated on the patio next to the weight staff stand in a corner with no access to a fan or a breeze. Three of the guests in our party were over 6'3" in height and found it very difficult to get comfortable. This table had such a high mosquito population the waiter provided us with a can of Off Spray. Needless to say our night out brought days of misery. The food is heavy and rich. One dish was so laden with oil/butter, we were told they could exchange our napkins if they got too soiled upon completion. Although very heavy, there were plenty of choices to feed a variety of palates. They do make accommodations for those with nut allergies. The food arrives in a nice presentation and the dishes are unique.

Service is exceptional. This place deserves a Michelin Star. Im convinced there isn't anything bad on the menu at all. If you love attention to detail, fresh & real ingredients this place is for you! If you have a problem with small & expensive dishes go to McDonald's instead.
