Maki rolls small and fell apart.
Veg tempura appetizer was good as was the miso.
Grilled salmon maki roll tasted off, spider fell apart.
Staff was very friendly, I was hoping for better.

This is the very first place I tried sushi at about 15 years ago and I am so glad! The atmosphere is a little outdated but very clean. The service is excellent and the sushi is my favorite in the metroplex. The sushi bar is nice and large and there is a wonderful selection of sake. The lunch prices are incredibly reasonably priced I absolutely love getting the assorted bento boxes. They also always over the high end cuts and they are an experience in themselves. This place will always have my vote for an amazing sushi spot.

Absolutely incredible sushi spot. They have very consistently good food, a great atmosphere, and great staff. Some of the best sushi I've ever had, including when I've been to Japan. Highly recommend.

I was unimpressed by the lack of wow factor and service. It just wasn't worth it to me and I was still hungry after getting $100 in food SMH

I have been going to Mr. sushi since 2014 when I arrived in Dallas. My 8yr son was practically born here. The last 3 times I have come here with my family I have gotten horrible service.

This time the food was bad. Dry yellowtail, small rolls. Salmon with no fatty segments. Not even toro we ordered, but it may have been a kitchen mistake which is even worse. The devil roll didn't even make my eyes water like it used to.

We moved from Carrollton to Little Elm but still come here's for special occasions because Mr. sushi has been a huge part of our lives.

I spent $250 and got service like $75 Applebee's service. My wife and I realized we had a better experience in Frisco at a different sushi restaurant.

We will miss you Mr Sushi because of what you represented but we are not coming back. Now it's overpriced medicoore sushi with horrible service and wait times for food.

Feeling sad and disappointed...
Goodbye

Stumbled upon this place and told the sushi chief our likes and that we were up for any thing and ended up with a n impromptu omakase meal. It was fantastic. I can’t praise this place enough Thank you so much to Seiji and the wait staff. We really enjoyed our night!

My favorite sushi place in the DFW area! I’ve traveled to Japan and this is the closest (if not, spot on) to authentic, Japanese sushi I’ve had in the metroplex. They also clean their draft tap filters (why don’t more people do this?) so you get a true, crisp Asahi taste every time. It’s not easy getting me to leave OCTX for a meal, but this place is worth it every time.
