Visiting town and decided to check this place out. Getting there wasn't too bad, took the blue line up and the #20 bus across. Downside of the bus was needing to cross a fast stroad without any nearby ped crossings.
They have a fridge full of options with different portion sizes. I got a regular enchilada, a large sweet and sour tofu, and a chorizo taco. I was happy to have found it so I could bring back a few meals to my hotel. The food was mostly solid, but I found the tofu a bit difficult to microwave evenly in the provided container. Staff was friendly and helpful! They have a microwave on site, but I can't remember if there was a place to sit down inside or not.

Don't let older reviews about flavor deter you – it's easy to adjust to your preference. I personally have zero issues, I think everything is super tasty and prefer their fresh ingredients. Plus, the delivery option is super convenient. They truly excel at providing quality food and service, especially considering the diverse dietary restrictions they accommodate. I'm not only eating vegan, I'm low fat vegan (for my heart). Nature's Plate makes delicious food that is low fat, fresh and generous in portion size. The first time I went, there was limited selection. I learned that the regulars order in advance (by Thursday for Sunday pick up or delivery). But we enjoyed what we got and now we order ahead.
I loved the sour cream and buy it in a tub. The Buffalo sauce on the quinoa was flavorful without being hot spicy. I liked the "tuna" salad and the ranch dressing. I look forward to trying everything over time. The cookies are good. I don't know how they make their mashed potatoes so good without dairy or fat - it's cooking magic!
