I was disappointed that you did not have gluten free options. The note at the bottom of the menu regarding food allergies is flippant and disrespectful. The wait staff is not trained in those conversations.

Excellent service, food and atmosphere.... and location to my favorite Kalita Humphreys theater.

NHS consistently provides great service delicious food and a warm and comfortable atmosphere to dine with friends. We love this place and will always be coming back as it is one of our favorites. 

As a long time patron of two other NHS, the Oak Lawn location was a far cry from our usual, very consistent experience. The restaurant is too large, losing the intimacy that makes the other locations feel, well, like a neighborhood joint. The service was patchy on a crowded Satuday night -- it was really difficult to get a drink, both while waiting at the bar and then later through the waitress who herself was being denied by the bar tenders. The ribs were very mediocre and the whole experience was not NHS-y at all. Perhaps the group should operate this location under a different brand.

Very attentive service, the specials are enticing. I'm only there maybe once a month for lunch but they remember me by surname which is nice. I'll be back.

Relatively quiet Sunday evening. Service was very good as were drinks. One entree overly salty

I had no idea they had a location in Oak Lawn. The prime rib plate was wonderful. Their roasted Cauliflower was amazing as well as their Brussels Sprouts. Service was super quick. Would recommend.

Emi was an absolutely amazing server! She recommended a delicious Colita 43 and espresso cocktail in place of an espresso martini, which was perfect and will be my new dessert drink! Also she did get 12 blue cheese olives for my partner who loved them!!

The food was fantastic and cooked to perfection, 10/10 experience and we will be back!

Crowded at 1 pm and NO parking near. They need valet parking to handle the crowds and attitudes of clients upon entry. Atmosphere classy/rich. Great food, but inside was kind of loud, so I had to raise my voice level at my business lunch. Waiters professional, but a little discombobulated with the lunch crowd. Took 20 mins for water to be served. Bar looked like a better option, but I didn't leave with a desire to go back unless I went by myself.

Unassuming from the outside, but exceptional on the inside. The menu changes seasonally, drinks are great and the ambience is perfect for all occasions. Brandon, one of the managers, is a real delight and has a talent for making sure everyone is taken care at all times.

My family and I had a great experience. Although a very busy Friday holiday-time night, a good sign, we felt welcome and at ease. Our server Christopher set the tone and pace perfectly and everything he suggested was indeed just what we were asking for. From the wine, cocktail , to my wife's special- A plus recommendations. He didn't miss a beat. I also want to mention the host staff as being so accommodating.

A very busy Friday night, but we were seated ahead of our reservation time and received excellent service. Nothing not to like

Had dinner at Neighborhood Services tonight and the whole experience was strong from start to finish. Our server Emmy was the highlight. She was attentive, kind, easy to talk to and made the night feel relaxed. She checked in at the right moments and kept everything moving without us ever having to ask. One of the restaurant staff Ángeles also stood out, she was engaging, thoughtful and genuinely cared about our experience. The food was outstanding. We had the Hamachi, the oysters the fried asparagus and a perfectly cooked filet mignon with mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. Everything hit the mark perfectly. Management was present, engaging and the restaurant runs tight. Overall a great experience. We'll be back and we're already fans of their sister restaurants too.
