That ribeye steak was fantastically tender and juicy. I definitely recommend it.

AMAZING food, staff and owner! I highly recommend the filet and key lime pie.
Nelson’s is a hidden gem! The cocktails are top-tier — creative, smooth, and seriously addictive. You can tell they put real thought into every mix. The food? Absolutely killer. Everything we tried was great, but the lobster sliders stole the show. Perfectly seasoned, buttery, and melt-in-your-mouth good. This place nails the vibe, the drinks, and the food. Can’t wait to come back!
Had the ribeye with fries
Delicious!!
This is definitely Nelson’s Palate Pleaser! The food was delicious, and the service is second to none! The menu has a terrific variety of entrées, salads, etcetera, from which to choose. Do yourself and your palate a favor. The next time you want a fantastic place to eat, make it Nelson’s.
Great food, neighborly atmosphere and staff. Deviled egg appetizer was delicious. Coleslaw was moist but not to runny or thick. Husband ordered ribs and I ordered Ribeye. Could definitely eat there any day a week.
Never had worse service at a restaurant in my life. Shortly after being seated, the waiter brought us menus and ice water, and then never returned to the table. Granted it was a group event and they may have been a little bit busy, but he was seen hanging out at the bar talking to the bartender, leaning against the wall his arms folded, and never made any effort to come back to the table for an order. If you have The Misfortune of ever dining there, do not let the male wait on you
I ate lunch at Nelson’s last week after having not having visited there for several years, because I don’t live very close by. Every aspect of the food was outstanding: the catfish, the shrimp, the French fries and the hush puppies. It was all really good.
We visited last night...nice place and the waiter was a nice guy and the service was good. I ordered an 8 ounce filet, cooked medium, but was served the 6 ounce, and the steak was overcooked, and medium well. Very overpriced for what we were served. My wife ordered red snapper, and she was pleased. The mashed potatoes were excellent! Overall, a good experience, but the steak was disappointing and overpriced.
I went to eat and we had to wait 20 mins before getting a menu, then once he gave us our menu he rushed me to order a drink. Like you took 20 min give me some time to think. Then when I was ready to order he told us to wait again, if your in the weeds hire another bartender. I think this was Nelson himself. Then I ordered the snapper, the meal itself is not cohesive at all. Looks weired but it did taste good I will admit. We Then wanted to make a phone call there was like 2 people at the bar and he said don't use speaker if you need to go outside. Like if I want to use my phone I will do that I don't need YOU telling me how to use my phone, I could of put the volume down, I'm sitting in a restaurant I don't want to walk outside to use my phone plus why is he in my conversation. I said that to my date not to Nelson. Horrible experience this is my 2nd time I hope he works on his people skills and getting help so people me don't have to wait 20 min to be acknowledged.

The owner is really nice and the food is great. The lobster bisque is amazing.
This is a restaurant that is trying to be upbeat, but the atmosphere is very average. The menu is varied from burgers to expensive steaks.
The ribs are fantastic. Better than BBQ restaurants in the DFW area. Friendly staff and great service.
Delicious food and great service. Brian is so sweet. Staff overall friendly and attentive🫶🏽
