Nonna Reviews
We felt so unwelcome! The hostess was awesome but our waiter was HORRIBLE and should retire. Took forever to greet us and was curt when he finally did; tried not to give us bread (3 tables seated after we were got theirs before we did); never checked on us or refilled our tea; and - this is funny - snorted his disapproval when we declined to order wine or salads before our entrées and even left the table to give us “time to think about” what we wanted before he would let...read full review

Nonna has a surprisingly spacious interior despite its small shopfront. The atmosphere is great, with a good vibe, although some find the lighting a bit low. The food is decent, with the clam pizza being a standout dish. The appetizers, particularly the one in Picture2, and the olives are also recommended. The desserts, including the cherry pistachio dessert, are highly praised as unique treats. The service is friendly, with attentive waiters who can make the dining experience enjoyable, although there may be a slight delay with drinks. While pasta dishes can be hit-or-miss, overall, Nonna provides a good dining experience and is regarded as one of the best Italian restaurants in Dallas. The prices may be higher, but this reflects the authentic feel of the restaurant in Highland Park.
