I have been coming to this place since I was a child and the food has always been food for the soul. I had fried catfish, mac & cheese and carrots and it did not disappoint.

The food was pretty good. The waitress was pretty good as well. The restaurant seemed a bit dirty, the tables were sticky. Also, there is no breakfast meat substitutes, no turkey nor chicken.

The food was good our waitress was friendly,the only problem was that it took over 30 minutes to get our food,they gave us rolls to munch on but then 5 minutes our food was bought out,I think rolls should of been brought out sooner not 5 minutes before our food came out.

Ordered their Thanksgiving platter for work and was disappointed. The turkey was dry and the dressing was not good at all. Customer service was amazing but food tucked except for the rolls, desert and potatoes.

Chicken fried steak was tough and mostly breading. It wasn’t bad. That’s on me. I think CFS will be good and then not like it most places I order it. Black eye peas were great! Service was excellent!
