Nova is a staple top tier eatery in south Dallas. With most of south Dallas a fine dining desert, Nova is a breath of fresh air. With that said, service needs work (making sure table is cleared and cleaned between courses, watching for water glasses half full, and flatware service, to name a few areas). I had the mufaletta pizza, my partner the Salmon. We had chocolate and vanilla cream brûlée. The salmon was amazing, but the pizza was odd, and didn't taste of mufaletta at all. No olive flavor, no salami flavor at all. It tasted mostly of ham, and a very out of place green bean and carrots. Still, despite some peculiarity and even glaring misses, it's one of the best places to eat on the south side of town.

This is a great hidden gem. My girlfriend and I were in the area and asked were a good place to eat is…told to go to Nova. I recommend for sure if you are in or around the Bishop Arts area. Food is excellent, live music at the time.

This is by far THE best restaurant I’ve ever been to! I lived in Texas for 12 years and would frequent here. When I moved out of state, I make sure to have dinner here before leaving. Everything on the ever-changing menu, is always GREAT! The fried frog legs are breath taking!

Always eat here before a show at the Kessler. Wonderful cocktails, food, and service. The staff is always friendly. Never had a bad meal
Really nice vibe as we walked in lots of happy patrons obviously many who were regulars. Terrific wine selection we got a bottle. Ordered the special of the night the Osso Buco or a smoked pork shank on poblano grits. It was fantastic. The service was top notch not over bearing but got a visit and quick hello from the bartender/owner who was super nice. My date ordered the salmon which she thoroughly enjoyed. After dessert we relaxed and talked a bit just enjoying a really well planned and relaxing atmosphere. I want to go back and try some of the creative dishes on their menu. Highly recommended this restaurant.

My boyfriend and I came here to celebrate our anniversary. He got out of work late but fortunately their kitchen was still open at 10pm—on a Sunday. This is a very special treat for us because we both travel for business. It is very difficult to align our schedules to celebrate together, especially to enjoy delicious cuisine. The dishes had a perfect balance of delicious flavor combinations and healthy fresh foods. When being told about specials, we were shown photos of the fish and one was stuffed so we saw it cut open too. I really loved the eclectic decor. The spooky candle light dinner was our perfect way of celebrating our love.

Wow! I was a bit surprised by how amazing the food was! JD was awesome and hilarious! Wagyu burger phenomenal, Muffuletta pizza was delicious as was the meat pizza. The music was a tad loud hard to have a good conversation. One bathroom and often occupied so if it’s open, go lol. Overall a great place, wonderful atmosphere, great crowd and scrumptious food.

Some people make reservations over their phones to buy bloody Marys and more drinks. Pho is delicious. 🤤 On Mondays and public holidays, there may be a long line at noon, so I recommend changing the time or coming early.
