An upscale Korean steakhouse. We went to try it one night and it was ok. IMO it’s not much given the price, service, and quality of the food. It was nice to try once but would not go back.We ordered the nuri grill that comes with 4 different cuts of meat, a choice of beef or seafood soup, white rice, house salad, pickled cilantro, kimchi, ssam, and a dessert. In addition to nuri grill, we ordered the crispy pork belly and steak noodles.Service was ok. We went for an early dinner a little after 5pm, the restaurant was not busy yet. Only a couple tables were filled. It took awhile to get seated and waited on. By the time the food came out, the business was starting to pick up with the dinner crowd. Our server was rushing to cook the meat and taking away plates as soon as the last bit of food was eaten.Food tasted alright. The dishes were Asian fusion, not traditional Korean food.

A KOREAN BARBECUE WITH A FINE-DINING STEAKHOUSE TWIST‼️ Nuri Grill is led by two Michelin recognized restaurants chefs from Seoul, South Korea and created an upscale dining experience serving flavorful and palatable dishes. They serve high quality and premium meats, appetizers hits the spot and can we talk about how everything is presented so neatly? Atmosphere is elegant and the whole vibe is just breathtaking. For the grilling experience, you have a choice of cooking your own or have your server do the grilling, for me personally I always love grilling my own meats. Be sure to get a cocktail or some wine with your feast as well! Shoutout and hands down to Simon for providing a superb and wonderful service, our overall experience was memorable and I honestly still can’t get over. Nuri Grill, you’re amazing. I will definitely be back! ?What we got:? Pan Fried Octopus - $25?Crispy Pork Belly - $14?Taste of Nuri - $39 per person; includes Filet Mignon, Marinated Galbi, plus two chef selections and white rice; choice of seafood or beef soft tofu stew; house salad, Korean side dishes, seasonings and seasonal dessert?Grilled Asparagus - $12? We tried the Nuri Christmas special for $59. The meat quality is outstanding! You could do the $39 special which is without the dessert and shrimp. But the quality of the meat is truly the highlight at that restaurant. We tried the scallop cervuche

Incredible experience! We're just so sad that we only found Nuri Grill a few weeks before closing. Argh! Can't wait for the new location to open in 2023. Hopefully, we'll see Simon again there. And big thank you to the awesome hostess to help squeeze our daughter's boyfriend in at the last minute. ?

I came with a group of 4 months ago when they first opened but haven't left a review yet. Food was great. Premium quality meat, good sides, and the oysters were delicious. I knocked off stars because I wasn't a fan of our service. Our waitress was promoting her personal restaurant to us... which is fine if you don't give me a side-eye when I ask you for garlic for the third time? Had to ask her for extra things multiple times because she either forgot or ignored it. Instead of saying "oh I forgot, I'll get that as soon as I can" she really gave me a side eye! It's a $200 meal, I don't think I I should have to ask for things multiple times. We tipped her cash and she lost the cash, came outside to grab us to ask about it, made a small commotion then found it. Coming from a waitress, I did not like her service. I would definitely come again but ask for another server.

Great service, menu selection and cocktails. The appetizers were amazing and we enjoyed everything we ordered very much. The quality of meat was very good and portions were perfect. Definitely recommend for groups or a fun date night.

The food was amazing! We had a great server, Anthony, and Cali assisted. Both were helpful and kind. Only thing to note, they do not split checks by orders. It's by seat so keep that in mind with large groups. Highly recommend the oysters and the pork belly appetizers

This place is a hidden gem, by far the best Korean BBQ in the metroplex for a fine dine experience. Anthony our service was excellent and made our first time here even better. Everything from the drinks and food was on point.

Everything was excellent! The food far exceeded our expectations! Being Korean, I'm not typically a fan of pre-marinated meat as I often feel as it's meat that's not fresh enough to serve unmarinated...and it's often over marinated...but the marinated king ribs were amazing! The flavor was perfectly seasoned, and the additional yang-yum jang's (dipping sauces) were equally as delicious. A must try dish is the roe pasta...and the best starter of the evening was the pork belly.

We were trying this as a step up from our normal favorite Korean bbq spot, Ari. Unfortunately the food was not as good despite the meats being of higher quality. Atmosphere is great the restaurant is decorated beautifully. Also the addition of fresh veggies for the grill was great (asparagus, shishito peppers, onion, mushrooms). We ordered the chefs menu combo for $59 each, partially because the dessert was crème brulee compared to vanilla ice cream with the $39 version. The meat was expensive and portioned very small for 2 people, essentially meaning you get 2 small pieces for each person on several of the meats. The shrimp still had the shell, tail, feet, everything in tact and had to be manually cleaned at the table prior to consumption. The sauces were ok, but we were wanting a garlic/oil/salt based sauce and a sriracha based sauce like the ones Ari includes. The meat is all brought out at once, all the raw meat with the veggies sitting on and around it, and just sits there the whole dinner until you cook and eat it all. Not the best aesthetic for a dinner as you eat just looking at the raw meat on the table. The dessert was inedible brown crème brûlée that tasted of burnt eggs. We asked our server for the vanilla ice cream instead and she brought 2 rock hard frozen hockey puck ice creams with canned whipped cream and a McDonald's cherry. For half the money you can go to Ari where the Korean food is prepared by Korean people and get all the way full eating fresh food with so much great flavor and they really take care of you by cooking the food for you and continuing to bring fresh meats to the table as you eat. We've gone several times and always are so thrilled with the experience. Unfortunately Nuri will be a one time departure from what we know and love. Not nearly a value for the price, rough area of town, no Koreans anywhere in the restaurant, just fair dinner quality and astonishingly bad desserts, 4/10

Pretentious place. Good job on pork skin but the actual meat itself was very hard, almost like rubbery texture. Chef might be full of himself and tried to make it more elegant by putting his own spin but side dishes were the worst I ever taste. Weird bitter taste on all side dish, soup had too much seafood taste. The only reason that this place thrives is American who never had any proper upscale korean cuisine and this is the only place that pretends to provide upscale korean cuisine. One star for valet service and atmosphere. And seriously, who uses that kind of grill for non-fatty piece of beef? Chef does not have basic knowledge on how to cook meat.

We tried the Taste of Nuri. The meats (filet mignon, hangar steak (chef), ribeye (chef) and marinated galbi) tasted good. There were different seasonings to dip each meat into. Our server cooked the meats for us, which was good and not-so-good. He mentioned later in the meal how he guesses at when the rice cakes were good and then we realized the staff isn't as prepared as other places to cook table-side. The bok choy burned and some meats cooked longer than intended, but overall it was okay. The beef soft tofu soup was tasty and came in a cute single-serving pot. It's accompanied by a bowl of white rice. I asked for another rice since I was eating it with my meats too. The side vegetable dishes were familiar yet different. There was the salad and different pickled items. I don't think I've seen pickled cilantro before. The scallion kimchi was good. I wasn't a fan of the other pickled items. The vanilla ice cream is in-house made and pre-shaped. The interior decoration and furniture is pretty. The silverware set was cool as it came with a resting block.

We went there to celebrate my wife's birthday. We chose from the starters since we don't eat beef. Neither the presentation nor the taste left a lasting impression. For a restaurant that claims its chef is Michelin recognized the overall experience was disappointing. And given the fact that we had conveyed that we were celebrating a birthday it would have been nice if the wait staff had acknowledged the event

This is a very fancy restaurant. I like the food there. The server grilled our food at our table. It was great to watch the server taking care of our dinner and talk with my friends. The beef tastes very good and tender.
