It was my wife and I's first time experiencing this magnificent restaurant and I will say the food and the staff did not disappoint! We will be certainly coming back.
The food and the view were excellent. The service was outstanding and well worth the price
We didn't really care for the filet mignon. It was too smoky as a filet mignon should not be that smoky. Also, the salmon was pretty dry and had bones in it. Overall, did not like the food at all.
Horrible. Took 10 minutes for drink orders, wrong temp on steaks ordered no silverware was brought out when the steaks got to our table, asked for oysters for an app was never brought to our table, they gave us the oysters at no cost at the end but it was already to late. First and last time not worth the money. Nice view tho.
Celebrated my wife and I's first anniversary. We got sat by the window seats so we were able to look at the night time view of Dallas. Service was good. Attentive. Came and refilled our drinks often. Server gave us time to look at the plethora of food and drink offerings on each menu. Wife chose the filet mignon and I selected the cowboy ribeye. We also picked their sides of mash potatoes, onion rings and triple fried French fries. Food took a while to arrive but it was fine. Food arrived hot and it was pretty tasty. We both ordered medium rare cuts and that's it showed up. The noise level was pretty quiet as other patrons enjoyed themselves at near by tables but it wasn't distracting or disruptive. Overall it was a fun night. I would probably come back again for another special occasion and try out their sushi selection and desserts.
This was a huge disappointment. The food was subpar and the wine list was an absolute joke with grocery store bottles being inflated by $100. It is the type of place that makes people hate fine dining because the experience doesn't match the price. For your special occasion, go anywhere else.
We came here to celebrate my fiancé's birthday. Being this place is Michelin recommended, we were disappointed with the foods & service. While there were many selection of foods, most of them were just ok nothing extraordinary. Seafoods station is good. Love the oysters & crab claws aquachiles / ceviche. Smoked salmon is good, Sushi is ok. We were hoping to have better meat options at carving station. We thought prime ribs is served at brunch buffet but only to find pastrami, ham & sausage. Meat & rope sausage were flavorful but kind of cold. Most of us only had 2-3 small thin slice of meats before they ran out of meat around 1:15. Only ham & sausage left. Sorry but for $80 per person, we would like to have more meat, this is barely the amount of meat if we ordered a sandwich. The croissants, cinnamon buns and macarons were good, my son did not like Buche Noel. He said the texture is slightly off compare to others. Plates at carving station are wet, literally wet all of them just like in Chinese buffet place. It seems like they just stacked them right after come out dishwasher. I assume higher standard is expected for this kind of place. No spoon at breakfast station for parfaits. Our server is not attentive enough, only refill water once throughout the service. It is understandable if they were very busy but not at that moment. I hope restaurant will improve their service & foods.
We encountered unsatisfactory service from the hostess. Upon arrival, my husband attempted to check in under his name, but the hostess disputed the existence of our reservation and declined to assist us, necessitating my intervention to provide documentation confirming our reservation and identification. Regrettably, her behavior towards us was consistent with her interactions with other guests, which appeared discourteous. Furthermore, when it was time to proceed, our name was not called, requiring another employee to locate our information from the start, despite our visible presence at the front desk adjacent to the elevator throughout the entire ordeal.
Loved the experience. We were treated really well. Service was excellent. Definitely going back.
Experience was great. The staff was very friendly from when they check you in to our waiter. The sushi and stake were delicious, the sides were a little cold for my liking but not a huge deal. Would definitely recommend!

As you would expect the ambience at Crown Block is just perfect for a special occasion or date night and the holiday lunch was no exception. I took off one star due to the service. Unfortunately during this holiday lunch service I felt like our table was overlooked. Our waiter messed up two of our drink orders (after waiting too long to even be able to place our drink orders) and then one of our meals had all the items on the burger that were specifically asked to be on the side plus not cooked to the temperature requested. All this could be overlooked as we were visiting and enjoying ourselves and understand everyone has an off day here and there, but the real disappointment was when we asked for a simple scoop of ice cream to be brought to my 3 year old niece along with the adults desserts. We asked when the adult desserts were brought out again. Then again another time before I finally went to the pastry chef and asked (where our waiter was standing getting adult desserts for another table) and he told me I would have to wait. At this time the other adults at my table had already finished their desserts!!! I will say when the pastry chef heard my request while standing at her station. She immediately scooped the one tiny scoop of vanilla ice cream and provided it to me to take back to our table.
Remarkable food, stunning view, and the best customer service in Dallas! We had a wonderful time and highly recommend Crown Block!
Our server was excellent! And the food phenomenal! And the Christmas ambiance was on point!:)
The Akaushi wagyu striploin was tough and inedible. Someone else at the table had the same experience. Everything else was great and the waiter was experienced and professionally friendly. The bartender was kinda snotty and not a good representative. Everyone else was friendly and attentive. We are unlikely to go back.
Every meal was absolutely delicious, and the waiter was kind enough to oblige a request we had made as well! I can't wait to return next time I'm back visiting family in Texas
