I was craving tacos and decided to check this Taco Stop out. Before going I looked up a menu online to see the prices but upon arriving there I noticed the prices have increased and need to be updated on their website. Honestly I wasn't very impressed by the tacos. The flavors and overall presentation just wasn't there at least not for $2.23 per taco. If you want good authentic tacos that taste good just drive a few more minutes up the street to Taqueria La Ventana or Fuel City.
So as much as we go to Ascension, we come to Taco Stop just as much! Really, why are we living in Plano? In fact, on many trips, we will stop at Ascension for coffee beans, and then head over to Taco Stop for their breakfast tacos. People, I've lived in several foreign countries. Cash only establishment located inside a gas station. They have a 20x$30 trompo deal and there pork meat is delicious! There fajita meat is really good and tender. They also give a habanero and a green salsa both are pretty spicy along with some whole Serrano peppers, limes, a few red potatoes, cilantro and onions. Check this place out if in the pleasant grove area. The ladies working the register are always super nice.
