I’ve eaten before and liked the food. But I probably won’t ever be back. The staff was so unbelievably rude, it was like being in a movie where they look you up and down and decide you aren’t dressed nicely enough for them to be polite to you. My party and I weren’t as fancy as some patrons, but we were dressed nicely enough for a concert at the Meyerson. I’ve never been treated so rudely in my life. I told a different friend my experience, someone I consider very elegant, and she said when she’s eaten at the Meyerson, the food staff was So snotty and rude that she had to complain. To the podium staff and manager: you seat people at restaurants and serve them. You’re not performing brain surgery. Maybe get over yourself and be kind to everyone. To the management of the Meyerson: you might want to totally clean house and get all new staff for Opus, and begin with the manager and his staff. That kind of attitude starts at the top down. You want to know something funny? The people they were looking down their noses at were a group of attorneys, which I mention since they appear to care about status over basic humanity.

My husband and I always enjoy dining at Opus before a show. The food is excellent (the carrot ginger soup last night was amazing) and the service and staff are top notch.

We had dinner here before the Moody Blues show and it was fantastic!! There is a beef carving station as well as a fancy buffet with chicken, fish, veg and soup and salad station. Great view, nice servers! Will definitely book dinner again with the next show.

During brunch, Opus has a nice atmosphere with live music and a sunny interior. The food was delicious and service was good, but the price for the amount of food and selection was not ideal. There were 3 appetizers, one main course, an omelette station, and dessert for $40 per person.I appreciate Opus being inside of the Symphony Orchestra building so it was easy to hop over to see the performance. It was an experience but not worth the price when compared to other restaurants.
Dietary restrictions: All gluten free items were labeled. There was a gluten free dessert at brunch.
Parking: The closest parking is on the street or in the paid parking lot across the street.
Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps and elevators available.

What a great place to eat before the symphony! We went for “Uptown Nights” and it was incredible! We parked in the garage and was able to elevator up to the main level easily which is where opus was and the symphony is on the next level up from there. We got seated right away at opus. We had a reservation. We enjoyed a cold course, a main course and a desert course all self serve. We walked the hall for a bit and was then ushered to our seats. It’s a lovey venue. It was a bit challenging when we left because the opera had just let out as well so traffic was a bit thick but all in all it was a wonderful experience and we will absolutely be returning!

Opus used to be a descent dining experience before the symphony. Please don’t waste your time and money. Year after year since Covid it’s gotten worse and worse. I’m done. It was totally disgusting December 2023.
Love that they know our names! Food is usually very good. Two entrees plus a meat station in the buffet.Sometimes every dish has peppers, which are an allergen. Then there's always a couple different salads, fruit and cheese, and a soup.A mix of desserts, but no GF options.

My bill came to $55.00 for the buffet and one glass of Prosecco. That's a lot for a dinner that was full of unimaginative, overly salty food. The desserts were even worse; I would give them only one star if I could. They ran the gamut of tasting like they were a couple of days old to being sickly sweet to the point that I couldn't eat them, and I love sweets, so that's really saying something. My dinner date and I decided to eat somewhere else next time. The convenience doesn't make up for the lousy food. The after-dinner coffee was surprisingly good, however, and the space is elegant.

Wonderful for a night at the symphony! A nice selection of entrées and the desserts were amazing. The staff was friendly and attentive. It was nice to relax before we went in to hear Franz Liszt and Bela Bartok.

We had dinner here before the Symphony and it was convenient since we were not rushed trying to get to the Symphony from another dining location. They had a buffet with a lot of variety and the food was ok, not great. We had an enjoyable meal with several returns to the buffet tables.
Went here for New Years Eve concert and had dinner here prior to the concert. Take this with a grain of salt, as they could have been pulling out the stops.Food was great, various cheeses and apps, good veggies cod, and filet mignon cooked perfectly. Really couldn't ask for more for 35ish dollars a person.
