The food is fairly edible, typical for a hospital cafe. But the coffee and service are lacking. This is the only place I am aware of at Medical City that serves Starbucks coffee, but they either don’t know how to make it or are intentionally skimping on the beans to stretch them further. I have been here on two separate occasions for a family member’s surgery, and both times the coffee tasted only slightly different than warm water. The first time, I complained, and the owner was rude and told me it was my fault for ordering the blonde roast (I am familiar with what it should taste like.) But even after she finally agreed to replace it with a dark roast, it tasted basically the same. Foolishly, I gave them a second chance today (a few months later,) and it was the same result. Rather than complain and face another argument, I decided to write this review. Tomorrow I will be walking a few blocks to a nearby Starbucks outside of the hospital, and if you find yourself at Medical City for any reason, I recommend that you do the same.

I love this cafe! I patronize this business everytime I go to Medical City for an appointment. I would go more often if I lived closer. Everything's always so fresh and tasty. The staff is friendly and professional. Been coming here for over five years..

Anytime you're in the hospital, or visiting family- food is usually an issue. Orange Cafe has a wonderful staff that we have had the pleasure of visiting at my sons Orthopedic Surgeon's visits. They have a gorgeous, clean salad bar with a variety of dressings. I love the baked potato, it rivals Jason's Deli for a fraction of the cost. Today when we headed this way my son specifically asked if we could eat here. The only downside is they only have one cashier and she skipped the food line in order to handle the Starbucks customers. We waited about ten minutes to pay, as other guest just walked out.

The owner is rude, the food is bland, they cater to one ethnic race (Hispanic).for a brief moment, it was like they changed cooks and the menu, they food had flavor, it was actually pretty good..it was reflected by the customers that would be in the store STANDING IN LINE waiting to get the new cook food...and his personality.but then they fired the cook ( he was black) now the food is back to being bland, and no more line of customers. the owner/manger should really call that cook back, I know she's losing money since she fired him...
