Dropped by Overeasy and ordered the patty melt…ended up disappointed. What they served was basically a plain beef patty tucked between toasted oat bread—far from the cheesy, juicy classic I was after. The service didn't help either. Felt pretty much overlooked, and getting a simple refill turned into a task. Was hoping for a better experience given the cool atmosphere of the place. Unfortunately, it was a letdown.

Currently sitting here wondering why i keep having to ask for things while everyone is getting great service… A total of 3 booths being served, but feeling very alienated. Guest have gotten their waters filled, while we haven’t even gotten a glass. Staying at the Statler for a week and will not be coming back here for breakfast.

Food was fantastic. Drinks took a little bit but they were super busy with the NCA tournament this weekend.

I must just have high expectations for food from Texas but I’d say it’s average. Lacked flavor.

It was over rated. Too pricey and food was not that great, I could have gone somewhere better for what I paid for my food.

I come here just for the mimosas and chicken fried steak. I’ve been here several times and the food is always great. Service is usually great, sometimes a tad slow but that’s when they’re busy so it’s understandable. I highly recommend this place!

Really disappointing visit which we were not expecting. Stayed at hotel and came here for breakfast. Service was very slow as was the entire breakfast service. It took forever to get the food and there were only 2 of us and our meals came out several minutes apart. Both of the meals were below average, we had avacado toast and chicken fried steak and eggs. Restaurant was busy and seemed understaffed.

My wife and I visited this establishment with high hopes. The restaurant and hotel were amazing, however, the food wasn’t. First, the coffee was terrible and the food was about the same. Honestly, if you’re looking for better food, consider McDonald’s.

Service was slow. They sat others after us but served them first. Took 20 minutes just to get waters at our table, and the glasses were dirty. The first dish was prepared, I could see it on the kitchen line all plated and ready, but the other dish came out way later, meaning the first dish got soggy and cold by the time it was served. Also not made according to menu description. Overall, wouldn’t recommend. They also add a service fee to the bill — maybe because they often get low tips here. This is the third Statler restaurant we’ve had repeat negative experiences with. Statler needs some help with their restaurant management. As a downtown resident, I want to see them succeed!

I do NOT recommend this place. My family arrived at 11:20 to have a late breakfast. Their fancy "PB French toast whatever" that my wife ordered was literally 'toast' w/ powdered sugar and syrup. My 9yo got his pancakes (pancakes; NOTHING special) at 12:30-well after most were done eating. We got [a] cup of cold coffee + and [a] water. My order (off the menu;nothing special) was wrong. Terrible service. Unnecessarily long wait. Mediocre meal. Nice atmosphere. If you don't have to wait a half-hour for another, this may be an alright place for a beer-not much else. Avoid the place.

the menu has great choice which makes it hard to decide what you want. I got the French toast and it was amazing. service was very good and lots of seats so no wait time. felt it was a bit on the expensive side but your full for ages and the food is amazing.

servers were rude, they didn't check on us not once, only the manager did so props to him. They also took 10 minutes to pick up our check until an older lady with glasses said we had to get up and pay ..... no one else but us had to do that... I'm a server myself so I know what good service looks like and that wasn't it. The food did come out fast tho :)
