Palmieri has really good beans! If you love coffee then get drip. Their lattes are good but they only make 16oz, 4 shots but also a lot of milk which I don't love but I'm sure you can customize. They have sweet and savory Italian pastries and gelato too. I love their patio in the back and their walk up window! Great place to stop with your dog!

I’ve been a loyal customer of Palmieri Café for years, and their pastries and coffee have always been incredible. Over the past few years, I’ve taken several trips to Italy, and every time I go, I’m on a mission to find pastries that measure up to Palmieri’s and was always left disappointed that I couldn’t find a good vanilla cornetto.
Right before my most recent trip, I happened to read the sign inside the Palmieri café in Bishop Arts that explains their history…and that they’re from Puglia. Coincidentally, Puglia was the region I was about to visit. After visiting, I can now confidently say that Palmieri is as authentic as it gets.
Even in Puglia, I still didn’t taste pastries that were better than Palmieri’s. Their pastries are perfectly balanced (not too sweet) and taste like they’re made with genuine love and care.
I absolutely love supporting this local business and recommend it to everyone. 10/10, always.
The only thing that could make it a 20/10? If y’all started offering caffè Leccese.
Also, while reading some reviews and complaints about the staff here, I have NEVER had bad customer service. The girls who work here are very sweet. I would also encourage (as a small business owner myself) to give feedback in person if you are not happy. :)

Coffee was good and everything is made from scratch but what is up with the attitude?? Went two days in a row, two different girls, tipped both times and always made sure I was polite, only to be met with both ladies acting as if they’re absolutely miserable. Came here to see if anyone has said the same and it has seemed that way for quite awhile now. Is that just a qualification when getting hired? “Would you hate working here and despise customer service? Yes? You’re hired!” Won’t be returning again for this reason alone.

Really good coffee and small bites but unfortunately, we won't be returning due to negative attitude and lack of proper customer service from the lady that works there.

Horrible customer service, barista slammed the coffee on the counter and had a horrible attitude with all the customers that were in there.

Went here and heard some people walking by saying this place sucks 🥲 seeing all these other reviews is crazy. never had an issue here or the farmers market location, been going to both pretty much since they opened.
I think the main issue here is that americans say they like coffee or matcha, but in reality they like milk, that happens to be flavored with substances like coffee or matcha, and loaded with like, a gallon of corn syrup and synthetic flavors, and when they dont get that hit of fat and 100g of sugar from their drink they get grumpy. such is the nature of doing business in usa. The european leads the american to the trough of civilization but the american does not drink from it, preferring the mud puddle of corporate slop beverages.
that said I think their coffee is great but I think their espresso is the best Ive had. it leaves a nice lingering sweetness in the throat. Ive ordered espressos at plenty of other coffee shops in dallas and north dallas mostly but never had that happen elsewhere.

Best coffee shop in Bishop Arts. Coffee is better and they use 4 shots instead of two in their lattes. Nough said.

I went to a coffee shop in downtown Dallas today. It is a vintage coffee shop and the coffee tasted very good. Two nice and hardworking girls made my hot chocolate coffee. Wow! I really liked it. They made a wonderful coffee. The taste was excellent. It is hard to find parking because there are only a few spots, but it is worth it. I really recommend this place.

they give you regular milk instead of alternative milks even when asked for it and pay extra. really sucks :( if you’re allergic don’t go here to risk it
