The meat is great. However, I find it odd that they don’t sell chicken in individual pieces, or at least quarters. They often run out of chicken breasts, then you have to buy a half a chicken. They can really improve in that area…

Second or third time on DoorDash that I did not get extra barbecue sauce as requested, so you only get one tiny sauce for a 1/2 pound of meat. I called the store and specifically asked for extra sauce to be made sure it was put in the bag. I never received extra sauce even after calling the store and specifically asking for extra sauce, and I also asked for extra jalapeño bread, and I did not get that either. Sauceless meat is not good barbecue. Start giving everyone at least two sauces with the tray. This will prevent people that request extra sauce from not getting enough sauce all the time!

Ordered a trio beef platter that came with excessively dried brisket, one beef rib that tasted like 711 beef jerky. A slim Jim has more meat in it. 4 slices of sausage that would satisfy a 3 year old , and a chopped brisket sandwich they forgot to make because they were more concerned about completing training on their ipads. The only part was the free refills and the cucumber salad. All of this for the low low price of $63. Absolutely embarrassment from a customer service standpoint and serving sizes. Hard Eight Barbeque, here is come. Was not worth the drive, the diesel, or the time, used to be a favorite hot spot for me....that's no longer the case.

I’m typing this out as I am eating here lol I would like to say that the customer service here is very lovely, from the start of ordering my food the young lady was very helpful and her spirit was there; to the manager on duty who helped me and my mother order online (due to them not having tap pay) Despite the restaurant not having tap pay, they were kind and patient with us.
The food so far is amazing, the baked potato is a good size and the beef brisket is the type of meat that you want to come back again for. 10/10 thank you for making my day with how sweet and welcoming you guys were!

Ate at this establishment for the first time Sunday evening. Pappas has a drive-thru, curb-side pickup, and indoor seating. We ordered for 3 and got the fried catfish, rib trio, cucumber salad, and sliced grilled chicken. We all loved our food! I'll definitely eat here again and explore more of the menu

First of all, most Texans know about Pappasitos and Pappadeaux...but Pappas BBQ is a hidden GEM of a find....the quality and cleanliness of this long standing restaurant is a prime example of a very well run company 👌.....the BBQ is very top notch, excellent bacon cheeseburgers and piping hot and crispy French fries 🍟....pulled pork chopped brisket, smoked sausage is absolutely superb.....every one in the Northwest highway and 35 area have got to try Pappas BBQ at least once.....definitely a home run in my book....so many made from scratch choices, you won't believe the freshness and quality... Delicious and fun, highly recommend! Excellent staff, very knowledgeable and friendly. Very clean restaurant. Food was very good, I had the pulled pork baked potato, Excellent! My husband had the mixed meat platter with two sides, generous portions and very delicious.

Went to pay with Apple Pay or Android Pay but they don't accept it. Like come on we are in 2025. China has drone deliveries and this restaurant only accepts physical card payments? Even an ice cream truck has apple pay. Get a machine!!!
