Our experience was lovely. Not sure why this has a rating under 4 stars but it appears to be more about service and fussy things as opposed to food. Service was excellent. He was the only server but we never had to wait and didn't feel rushed at all. Americano was tasty, breakfast sandwich was delicious, bowl of fruit was fresh. Husband has the breakfast potatoess, sausages and toast - enjoyed it all. On a side note, I sat at the bar the other night and the bartender was excellent.

Perle is not open during the week. They took our reservation for my wife's birthday on a Wednesday and sent multiple confirmations. We showed up for birthday dinner and they were closed. They did not offer us anything to make up for the extreme inconvenience.
The experience I had was based on me getting the wrong feel for the restaurant. I assumed a restaurant and atmosphere that would reflect a more posh destination. I didn't realize it was the hotel restaurant. Not bad. But not special as I booked for Mother's Day. Our server was very nice and on top of it but when I had hoped for an experience I got, meh. Again my own fault for not quite researching enough. For what it was, they do a pretty good job and if I stayed at the hotel I would be perfectly happy with the fare but not at the expense of trying somewhere else.
Service was great but unfortunately the food is very below par and especially at these prices. The chicken dish was very dry and no flavor at all. Same with the halibut. Wonder why there was only 3 other tables in the entire place on a Valentine’s Day. Won’t go back.

The food is good but if they were to hire me I'll have to go into the bathroom and get high like I used to do at Metro Diner.
The place was empty when we got there on Friday for a 7pm reservation. Stood around and no employees greeted us even after searching for someone for several minutes. Ended up going elsewhere for dinner but this place had Zero guest or employees. Too many good spots in the same area, just avoid this place
Kinda pricey, but totally expected for room service. I had the brisket quesadilla and it was delicious. Tho only problem: the slice of pecan pie was DEFINITELY not big enough!! It was so yummy.

Made reservations for this past Saturday at 5:30 pm. Wow empty dining room a sign at the front stating Seat yourself and a server will be with you shortly. We sat in the empty dining room for 10 minutes and then I got up to walk in the lobby and ask the bartender if the restaurant was even open. She said yes and proceeded to text a server who finally showed up at our table while simultaneously putting on her sever uniform she welcomed us and immediately went to get us water. At that time I figured the rest of the night was about to go downhill as well. We decided to leave and waited another 5 minutes for the server to show back up to tell her we were leaving. Completely frustrated we went ahead and left. I thought the Stoneleigh was supposed to be some kind of special destination. How unfortunate for us, we will not be returning and will share our experience with others. Best regards, Brian Gibson

We wanted to enjoy the last day of Restaurant Week with a nice dinner. We were the only people in Perle on Maple! For our entire dinner. The service was great from Jose and the bartender. However, it took a while for the food to come out. Surprisingly, since we were the only people in the restaurant. Although I enjoyed the dinner and outing, I'm not sure I would return. Maybe I would try brunch on a weekend but would probably not go back for dinner again.
Great food, great service. Our server was a young girl, didn't catch her name, and she was fab! Portions did seem a bit small but everything tasted great. There was a musician at the bar too and he rocked!
My party of 6 got to the restaurant and it was empty. Not one member of service staff was around. We went ahead and seated ourselves at a table large enough to handle our group. For about 10 minutes we sat, never seeing anyone. We finally got up and left.
Wow! What an amazing experience. Tee and Jose our Servers were remarkable. We walked in with nine people and they were on top of it from the start. We had seen a few iffy reviews and were skeptical but they couldnt be further off. Food and service were both great. The chef even came out of the kitchen to check on us, we were blown away. That never happens. Would come back if I wasnt from out of town
While the food was decent, the service left A LOT t o be desired. We were in our seats for 15 minutes before our server greeted us. In fact, the host came by to get us drinks. Then we ordered a pastry tray and our meals. Our meals came out 45 minutes later. No pastry tray. Never once refilled our drinks or came by to see how we were. Food was barely warmer than room temp, though it did have great flavor. After checking out with my card but paying cash for the tip, I found out the server wrote in a $45 tip.... For 2 people.... After I gave cash!!! She WROTE IN HER OWN TIP!!!! Worst Mother's Day experience ever. Do not ever go here!
