Food is great. Service is awful.

Our waiter was a lady named Rory and there was one Asian woman who was helping her. Both were extremely rude to us.

Service is pathetic. Never have i faced such a rude behavior from waiters in a restaurant.

Good tasting Brunch. Coffee was good. Food delicious. They were short handed. There were a lot of empty tables but no one to clean them.

The worst restaurant experience I’ve had in Dallas in 20+ years. So very disappointed. Was there to celebrate a birthday dinner. Non-existent waitstaff were surly and flat out rude. I grew up in France so I know from rude, this was very different. After voicing concerns about my non dressed salad, I was offered nothing except the “waiter” taking it, COMPLETELY uneaten, away. No recompense, no acknowledgment of my concern.

$80 for 1 entree, one salad, 2 drinks, mostly uneaten food. I was literally speechless at the lack of service. You can’t say anything these days without being accused of being a malcontent or chronic complainer so I just paid my bill and left.

So many other issues with the service, my companion had finished her entree before my salad even arrived (that ended up being inedible). The first time in my entire life I didn’t leave a tip under 25% but I know I’ll never be back.

So incredibly disappointed.

Waited over 1 hour for a salad. Finally just left. Waiter was rude and couldn’t care less.

Brunch-time service at the bar on Texas/OU game day was spectacular. After their busy morning, I got there for the slow-down and it was perfect.

Bartender stayed calm dealing with crazy hectic customers who seemed like they had never dined out before. Lots of demands on her attention and she never missed a smile! I watched her as she checked on coworkers and genuinely cared about if they were doing ok. Just a credit to the industry.

As for the food? The simple Traditional Breakfast was so well prepared and one of the best breakfasts that I have ever enjoyed. Whatever bacon they use...is unreal! The baguette was so perfect but could have been cut all the way through. 🤬

The scrambled eggs were so perfect and the portions of each thing on the plate were spot on.

I expected the prices to be higher too. Food pricing is great. Add some cocktails and your wallet will feel it tho.

Absolute gem this place. The staff is awesome.

Stayed at the hotel and went to dinner twice and the service was horrible. Had to door dash food since waiter took too long and the kitchen closed.

Cozy atmosphere. Food was good but not generally French which was disappointing. The cocktails were fabulous.

Joelynn was an absolute beast! I wanted an expresso martini and she suggested a Carijillo. It was amazing. MUCH better than an expresso martini! And to top it off, she is a sweetie!

We were quickly seated, but service was poor. Took an hour to get two cocktails, and then another 40 minutes for salads. I had high hopes for the place, but doubt I will be back despite the proximity to the Majestic.

Reasonably priced spot for brunch in downtown Dallas. Inside is nice, not many patrons around noon on a Saturday. The avocado toast was delicious with thick cut buttery bread, a generous portion of avocado, and a soft-boiled egg that was cooked well. Skip the chicken sandwich- it was rubbery. The fries that accompanied it were crispy and salty, like McDonald’s fries on a good day. Our server was pleasant and we were in and out in a reasonable amount of time but did not feel rushed.

Parking: Parking is free with validation from the restaurant

Swung by this place today for lunch after a few errands. The place was open during the holiday, I figure because it is part of the hotel. I've never been before. The description on Google is pretty accurate on the atmosphere. It is very classy, upscale vibe, well-maintained and clean. I was promptly greeted by the bartender Hannah, who gave me the choice to sit wherever I wished. I chose the bartop and was taken care of by her. We made conversation and she mentioned that she was relatively new to the restaurant, but she is very professional and seems to know the menu and hotel very well, already. Throughout my meal, I had four vodka martinis crafted by her. No complaints, they were good, and she was attentive. Before anyone gets onto me, I was using DART and made it clear to the one serving me that I would not be driving today.

I decided on just two courses for lunch, starting with the Crab Dip. The accompanying lavash chips were crisp and served warm, which was a nice touch. They worked very well with the dip, which was very creamy. Portion was pretty good, too, for an appetizer. For my entree, I ordered the Steak Frites, cooked medium rare. It came out cooked properly, presliced (the bartender, of course, did provide me a steak knife and other utensils before the food came out), topped with a nice persillade. Very flavorful, well marbled, and honestly a great deal at fourteen ounces, especially for a restaurant at a high-end downtown hotel. The frites were well seasons, not too hard or mushy, and paired very well with the aioli.

Attached to my review are a few photos, including the food side of the menu. It does say it on the menu, and the bartender Hannah made it clear when I sat down, but keep in mind that dishes with an asterisk are only available after 5 pm. Plenty of great options still available before then, including the Steak Frites I ordered. Your spending per person might not be as high if you don't order four cocktails like I did, although, at 11 dollars a martini, their prices aren't inflated or anything.

I definitely would like to return. The food, service, and atmosphere were all perfect.

Toussaint Brasserie in Downtown Dallas offers a delightful fusion of French and Asian flavors with a touch of New Orleans influence. The wings are a must-try, perfectly seasoned and cooked to a crisp, providing a delightful start to any meal. Truffle fries were also expertly fried.

For something more substantial, the bibimbap delivers a satisfying mix of textures and flavors, melding traditional Korean elements with a unique twist. French Dip was decent as was the burger and Cobb salad.

The Brussels sprouts are another standout and were expertly roasted and seasoned.

Complementing the meal, Toussaint offers a creative selection of mocktails that are thoughtfully crafted, providing a refreshing non-alcoholic alternative that doesn't skimp on flavor. We enjoyed the Space Jam but Lime In the Coconut looked tempting.

Service was very attentive but not intrusive.

The chic ambiance and carefully curated menu make Toussaint Brasserie a memorable dining destination in Dallas walkable from the Sheraton conference center.
