Philly Town

Philly town is the kind of place that makes me wish help has a 3.5 star option. I can do without 1.5 stars because if it sucks it sucks. I can do without 2.5 because well you can just up to 3 and not feel too bad but oh boy day gap between 3 and 4 is vast and deep indeed. 4 is super awesome. 3 is well more or less mediocre. I wish 3.5 stars was an option because that is how I feel. I like this place- the food is good and the staff is friendly. However, the store is a little dirty and cramped and the food is on the greasier side. All things considered, Philly Town is a good option for when you are tired of the normal places.

I enjoy the #1 Philly with Provolone cheese, mushrooms and onions (no green peppers). The sandwiches are good, though there are definitely better. They get 3 stars because in downtown, it's hard to find a decent lunch for under $15. They could probably squeeze out a 4 star rating if their bread was better, but I could never give them the 5th star due to the cramped space, the cluttered menu and the less than stellar cleanliness.
