Pokey O's Cookies & Ice Cream - Dallas

First time stopping in, didn’t know what to expect. I ordered a cookies and cream milkshake and for some reason I’m surprised that it’s literally just ice cream and milk.
I didn’t see any thing I could add-in, the guy saw me looking and didn’t ask if I wanted anything else. Idk it would have just been nice if they were more welcoming, explained what their “thing” is. The milkshake is extremely underwhelming, I hate to say it but I wish I had not tried something new today. It was only $5 but just not worth it.

I just don’t see myself ever coming back or even referring this place to anyone.

Dessert for date night. I wanted cookies ? but there were flies flying in the case around the cookies and when I mentioned it, they said it was nothing they could do about the flies. ?

Just the cutest ice cream shop ever. They make custom ice cream sandwiches and you can buy a bag of broken pokeys. I would bring everyone I know here. I got a single scoop with a cookie for $5. Unreal pricing. 100/10 I’ll be back every trip up here!!

I saw this place was highly rated so I wanted to try it out. It was not bad and the prices were reasonable, but the ice cream is just standard blue bunny flavors. I thought the Ice Cream would be homemade, but it is not and just very standard. I feel like you could easily make this at home.

Customer service was TRASH. ?‼️

I'm unsure if the AA guy is the owner or just the server, but he was extremely dry, unwelcoming, and uninterested in engaging with my friend & I. She was trying to have a conversation and asking him how his day was going, and he barely made eye contact. I asked him about the doggy treats, and it was just as if he wanted to hurry us along. Moving fwd to the checkout counter, as I was getting ready to push the tip button, he very quickly removed the option to tip as if he assumed I wasn't going to tip, which I was. It was simply a horrible experience, and I will NEVER be back. Ever! They serve 1-star cookies & Blue Bell ice cream, which you can get from anywhere. There are plenty of ice cream parlors who HOMEMAKE their own ice cream with the "sweetest" customer service. We didn't even feel welcomed to dine inside. We went next door to the Roly Sandwich joint and sat in their outside dining chairs and fed the birds the cookies. Don't even know if I should give my dog their treats!! Never again, chile. ?✌?

Delicious and inexpensive malt, 3 cookies for $3.49, quick service, very clean. Many ice cream flavors and different cookies to choose from, worth every penny.

I was disappointed to see it’s just bluebell ice cream. If I had known I wouldn’t have stopped by.
