As someone who genuinely enjoys Popeyes and appreciates a good deal (shoutout to T-Mobile Tuesdays), I feel it is my civic duty to caution anyone considering this particular location. I’ve only lived in Dallas for six months, but after three visits to this establishment, I can confidently say never again. And I do mean never.
Let’s start with the service. It is consistently dreadful. I don’t walk in expecting five star hospitality, but I do expect basic decency and maybe an ounce of competence. Unfortunately, what I encounter instead is rudeness, hostility, and a level of disengagement that is honestly impressive in its own right. The staff here are… let’s just say spectacularly unbothered. If you’re looking for a place where you can feel disrespected before you even place your order, congratulations, you’ve found it.
The food? Equally bleak. Orders are rarely correct whether placed in person, through the drive-thru, or online. You’d think with three tries, something would go right by accident. But no, consistency is key here. (consistently wrong, that is.) The portions are embarrassingly small; ordering a regular combo feels like receiving a child’s lunchbox. You might genuinely question whether you were given someone’s kids’ meal by mistake.
I kept giving this place a chance because it’s close to my home and, again, those T-Mobile deals can be tempting. But at some point, convenience should not come at the cost of dignity. I leave this Popeyes each time not just hungry, but reflective (pondering why I knowingly returned to a place that never fails to disappoint) Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me three times? Well, I should’ve read more reviews.
Out of the many Popeyes in Texas, and Texas has many cities, this one comfortably ranks in my bottom 10. Honestly, it might be bottom 3. Maybe even number 1.
If you enjoy cold fries, missing items, unseasoned attitudes, and the thrill of wondering just how bad things can get, by all means, give it a try.
For everyone else: save your money, your time, and your appetite.

I don't go to Popeyes often, but when I do, I like to grab red beans and rice. For the first time ever, I received watery red beans and hard rice. Very disappointing.

If I could give it 0 stars I would because I went up there to get food but I ask for a refund because I never have the sauce I want when I go up there. And the lady never gave me a refund she gave me a duplicate receipt and said it was my refund
