Beautiful, cozy place with home-like atmosphere; comfy furniture; delicious food served using gorgeous antique tea sets; implacable service with great attention to details. You can definitely taste passion in each bite. It became our new favorite place to visit and we can’t wait to try their set afternoon menu on the beautiful patio on our next visit.

I made a reservation here for my two daughters and myself. We were celebrating my oldests, 18th birthday (which I was told when I made the reservation, they would make special for her but I guess they forgot). This wasn’t our first tea room, but it was our first one here in TX. We frequented one in our small historic town in MD, 30 min outside of DC.What I really liked about my experience at Potpourri is, the ambience. The setting was quaint, inviting and what you’d hope when you’re having afternoon tea. Also, the service was fantastic. Our waiter knew his stuff and was friendly and efficient explaining what we could expect with each course. The tea-ware was also very pretty and the selection of teas (at least what we picked) were enjoyable. However, the food was just ok. Our favorite things we ate were the vege dumpling, and the vege pot pie, (served as 1st and second courses), and the cucumber tea “sandwich” which was one of the snacks on our tier (4th course). The deserts offered, were disappointing. Too sweet, not creative in taste and much less than I’d expect for French inspired pastry (I lived in Europe 10yrs, so I guess I’m comparing).$75 per person (not including tip) for very small portions (and small portions ARE normal at a tea room). But $75 for small portions that have no seafood or meat whatsoever is very high. They’re making a killing because the ingredients they use don’t AT ALL merit what they charge. If the food had been great, I’d bring friends back for sure. I’ve had so many friends excited to know the details on our experience at this tea room and sadly I’ve had to tell them, I CANT recommend it based on the overall quality of what we were served, for the price. My girls and I had a wondeful time but we won’t be back to this tea room. We will be on the search for another one. I do wish Potpourri the best though.

We went for Valentine's Day and had their themed 4 course tasting menu that also featured a tower of treats and 3 delicious unique teas. Each tea was served in it's own pot that contained roughly 4 cups of tea. The staff was attentive, the chef's creations were interesting and fun, the pastries were tasty, and the teas were fantastic.Parking: Small free lot, larger paid lot in the neighborhood.

I think there are better afternoon teas for the price in Dallas. Parking is difficult, the lot is very tight. The staff were friendly but service was subpar. I get you want to take your time and enjoy, but we were two hours in with one course to go when I asked for the check. There’s a lack of attention to detail, we were missing teaspoons, had a few fuzzies under our madelines, ran out of sugar cubes and were given the same tea twice. For a place with Boulangerie in the name there was very little bread, and what was there was incredibly dry. The cream puff was the highlight of the meal, but it still wasn’t great.

Walked in the other day for the first time and didn’t realize I needed a reservation but the men at the counter were so accommodating and the nicest people. My mom and I got to still sit and enjoy some tea and a pastry which was all so delicious. Will definitely be making this our new favorite tea spot!

Took my daughter there for a mummy & me afternoon tea experience.Loved everything about the place.Decor, ambiance & hospitality was wonderful. We enjoyed our tasting experience immensely.Host was kind enough to provide a choice of more ‘kid friendly’ tea choices. We had the strawberry & mango teas. The food was delicious.Everything was explained thoughtfully.Though I do wish for a bit of savory items to be served as by the 5th sweet item,I was hoping for a savory tea sandwich.

My girlfriend and I came across this place last month and could not love it more. The outside, the inside, and the quiet atmosphere made for a lovely time and the tea was delicious. I love tea and they have so many delicious flavors to pick from. Already thinking about taking my mother here for Mother's Day, it is a place I will come back to in the future!

This is my 2nd experience at this little tea house in Bishop Arts in less than a week. First time was with my husband for a six course menu, and today I stopped in for a chocolate croissant and chai tea pot. If I could give 10 stars, I would! The relaxing classical and smooth jazz music was a welcome bonus today. Chef Andres and Darryl are so down to earth and welcome with a smile! Oh and the food…SO GOOD….that will need to be a separate post. Bravo!Parking: It’s the city- parking is always parking.

Went for holiday tea with my friends. Beautifully decorated place! Very small parking lot. All the teas were AMAZING! The portions were a little small but there was plenty of different courses provided within the tea tasting menu so we didn't leave hungry. The only downside was that a lot of the foods leaned towards the sweet/dessert side and I think we would have preferred maybe 1-2 substitutions towards the savory side.

My daughter, daughter-in-law and myself look for a special place to go to celebrate the holidays. What an amazing venue Potpourri Boulangetie turned out to be! I found it through a Google search and read the glowing reviews. I have to say, our experience exceeded my expectations.I liked having several courses of imaginative, unique small servings of soup, salad and main before the traditional tray of sweets and treats. It was a perfect balance. Each food was unexpectedly delicious. We kept referring to the ingredient list that was thoughtfully supplied to figure out what was in each serving. Not to forget the 4 teas we sipped were amazing. The atmosphere was cozy and classy while the service was friendly and attentive. The dishes looked like a set from a cherished family collection. I highly recommend this place for a special lunch or tea.Parking: There is a designated free parking lot directly beside the restaurant. It seemed large enough to accommodate the number of guests. .
