Our most favorite restaurant! We love Michael and his team! Beyond AWESOME in every way!!! The Best of the Best, None Can Compare!!
Such a great place for a business or social lunch! The food is consistently good, and interesting. The specials are always a bit too pricey, but just ask before ordering to avoid a surprise on the check! Other than the specials, the prices are very reasonable for this level of service and the ambience. Service is always attentive, without being intrusive, and always pleasant and professional!
Amazing service! Our waiter was hilarious and was so kind about us being late. They have amazing food and drinks. We enjoyed our time very much.
Had a wonderful meal with friends at Bistro 31 with great service (thank you, Frank). I started with a very nice caesar salad accompanied by warm and delicious bread. For my main course, went with the Steak au Poivre in a really well-matched cognac-peppercorn sauce (and not too peppery), seasoned roasted potatoes and fresh asparagus. For dessert, shared a chocolate mousse cake w/raspberry coulis and a well-done berry cobbler topped with vanilla ice cream. The ambiance was perfect.
My girlfriends and I had a wonderful birthday celebration - not only can I always count on the food to be delicious, but our server was exceptional, thank you !
We had no wait time for our table. Brian, our server, was excellent. He gladly brought delicious bread and re-filled our water glasses when needed, which to me is a sign of a good waiter. The chopped salad was fresh, served beautifully, with just the right amount of food and dressing, not skimped down as some restaurants are doing these days. The price charged was very fair as well. Ambiance was ideal: festive yet quiet. I will return to Bistro 31 in an instant.
This is one of our favorite Dallas restaurants but our dinner the other night was better than ever! Food was great as always but our waiter, Steven, was outstanding, giving us great suggestions and expert service, and made our experience the best ever. We'll definitely be back soon!
Always great! My wife had a dish that was a special that had pasta with fried soft shell crab that she described as one of the best dishes she has ever had. Highly recommended coming here!
Went in for a quick brunch at 1:30 after church. The restaurant was full, burt nots overcrowded. The parking lot was jammed! When we went in we were escorted to our reserved table immediately. The interior of the restaurant is attractive and thoughfully decorated. I was ready to settle in to some very good food. I ordered eggs benedict and my wife ordered ricotta lemon pancakes. The pancakes were on a large platter with bacon and eggs as well as the pancakes. For both of us the best food at our table was the bacon- very smoky- reminded me of Benton's (my favorite). The menu said the eggs benedict was made with country hame- not true. The flavor of the ham was bland and the hollindaise was equally bland. My wife thought the pancakes were heavy but tasty. The waitstaff cound not have been more attentive. Just the food, one tonic water, and no alcohol and our bill was around $60 with tip. One would have expected more. It's not the waitstaff's fault- they are well trained and the service was excellent. It's the kitchen: I wish the food was more tasty.
Bistro 31 is our go to place to celebrate birthdays or anniversary's. We share the Dover Sole. No other restaurant in Dallas compares to the preparation and service of this fish. I had escargot and my wife had the soup. Both were outstanding. Our waiter was fabulous. What more can I say!!

Saturday early but as expected when closer to 7pm very noisy. Friendly staff but better probably for lunch. Food was good. Will probably not return on a Saturday night-crowd/diners a bit rowdy for us.
Wild salmon was not wild at all, and potato waffle that was a part of the octopus appetizer was simply burnt and not edible. We replaced salmon with chicken, which had no flavor, asparagus was overcooked, mush potatoes were over processed. Not even once we were asked how is our meal. Bistro salad was the only good dish we had. Disappointed.
SO LOUD! Not elderly here, but large groups shrieking....definitely not the spot for a decent conversation. Food and service are great if eating in silence or sign language is your thing.
First they seated us at a dirty table. Food was mediocre at best and waiter was not good at his job! Lost my credit card and spent five minutes trying to find it. Expect much better from a high end restaurant!!!!
Wonderful experience overall. Our waiter Christian was superb and had such a great attitude. Our meal was fantastic. We ordered escargot and the octopus for appetizers and I have to say the Lamb pasta was amazing. I would also recommend the pistachio panna cotta.
