Overpriced as expected for a hotel. Nice people on service.

I would rate the Pyramid Room Restaurant at the Fairmont Hotel as a restaurant everyone should try at least once and is ideal to be a go-to pick for a family to set as a place to go for a special event or celebration. This restaurant reminds me of a place straight out of a classic Humphrey Bogart movie where everyone still gets dressed in their most elegant attire to come together for a dinner that is presented to you over multiple courses and over multiple hours while your party enjoys the finest wine, hours of conversation, and admiring each other's choice of semi formal or formal attire. However, I do rate the Pyramid Room higher more for the dinners great presentation and the restaurants old world elegance than for the food itself.

Great service, but the steak was awful. 44$ for a steak with a terrible burnt sear. The medium rare was a lot more rare than it should’ve been (didn’t mind but not what i asked for) and you couldn’t taste anything past the burnt bits. Saving grace was the fantastic brisket Ruben!

Way and severely overpriced. Would never eat there again. The breakfast buffet was 28.00, and the breakfast was not special. I don't know if you could have ordered specially made eggs from the buffet, but there was nobody ever in the buffet area to ask, so basically, you just eat from that little buffet, and that's it

Was staying a night at the Fairmont and wanted something quick. Pyramid, inside the Fairmont, was quite good. I ordered the Smashburger to go as to avoid room service charges. Even after traversing the lobby, waiting on elevator then into my room, the burger and fries were cooked perfectly and still hot. The $22 price had me wondering, but it was worth it when you add convenience etc. to the value. My only "complaint" are the fries. They were actually very good, just not enough. In all fairness, the portion was correct, I just wanted more! Nice job, Pyramid and Fairmont. Always been a favorite hotel in Dallas.

This review is for breakfast only , which I had everyday during my stay at the hotel. The menu is quite comprehensive , the atmosphere is ok but it doesn’t feel particularly breakfast like being that it’s also a dinner restaurant. The service was good, special mention to Boniface , he is a genuinely courteous and industrious lad with a good attitude, he made a lasting impression on me actually. Brooklyn was also very nice.

Went for Mother's Day Brunch and it was a mess. Sat for 20 minutes without anyone coming over. Ask the host 3 times where out person was. Eventually left.

This was Mother's day Brunch with a limited menu. The service was almost nonexistent. The food was mediocre at best. I would not return for a brunch. It toom us over 2 and a half hours to eat our meal. Not good.

We had the pleasure of celebrating Mother's Day at Pyramid Restaurant, and it was great experience. We were a large party and they gave us a great table. The food was fresh, flavorful, dessert buffet had good selection too. Our server was attentive and friendly and their Manager took good care of us even through it was busy. Overall, we had a fantastic time at Pyramid Restaurant and can't wait to return.

Went for the Mother's Day brunch and enjoyed everything g we ate. The chicken on the rd velvet waffles wasn't the best, but the red velvet waffle was delicious. The fried cauliflower was a huge hit. The roses and mimosa bar was a favorite!

Mother's day brunch was a disaster. Showed up today to have Mother's day brunch. Waitress was slow and didn't seem interested in serving us. My daughter has a nut allergy and told the waitress to leave nuts and seeds out of appetizer acai bowl. It showed up with nuts and seeds. Manager came and asked if she would just prefer chicken strips and fries. We agreed but the chicken strips were not cooked all the way through. My 6 year old daughter even said they tried to "poison" her twice. My wife enjoyed her tempura fried cauliflower and I thought the ceasar salad was really good so the meal started good. 90 minutes go by and entrees still hadn't come out. Waitress was m.i.a. so we couldn't complain or get drinks refills. The lobster roll had too much mayonnaise so my wife didn't even eat her Mother's day meal. My smashed burgers were just regular burgers and over sauced and wasn't that good. When the check came we were charged for all 3 Mother's day special meals even though my daughter only got semi raw chicken and didn't eat anything else after talk with manager I got a discount. This was not good experience and we'll never go back.

Service wasn't the best. Having drinks sit empty for long periods of time, once courses were cleared, no flatware brought back out. Next course arrived and no utensils to eat with. Took a while for server to come back around to see that we needed more silverware. The restaurant wasn't even full. Various dishes throughout the meal weren't hot, I'd barely say that they were lukewarm. We didn't send anything back I just know we won't be returning and I don't recommend.

I bought tickets Dining in the Dark to surprise my husband with a different experience for his 60th birthday. I read views and thought this would a great surprise.I read the instructions before the date of the event. We got there early (20 mins as per instructions) and was told we wouldn't be seated until 5 mins before event was suppose to start ("6pm").The event started at around 645pm. It seemed a little unorganized. We were seated and donned our blindfolds. We received the appetizer. Then came the 30 to 40 minute wait for our main course. It took so long my husband became in- patient and lift his blindfold (because we could hear the sounds of utensil on the plates). He saw everyone in our area eating except us. We both raised our hand (as per instructed if we need assistance). We both asked where our meal was. The staff member Said your plates are on the way. We received our main course about to 10 minutes later. The staff who served us said "be careful the plate is hot". NO IT WAS NOT!!! The meal was room temperature, at best Not hot nor warm. The meal was bland but tasty/edible (table had no salt or pepper on it). After the main course we were allowed to remove our blindfolds. We did a Q and A session with the Chef. Then we put our blindfolds back on for dessert. The dessert was not worth the wait. At this point we paid our tab and left. This experience was VERY LACK LUSTER!!! Our experience was NOT WORTH IT!!!My entire cost (ticket $76.00 x2, Ticket fee of $19.00 x2, the automatic food gratuity $10.00 x2, the 2 drinks we order $24.00 and the automatic 20 % gratuity on the check. Total over $250.00) You do the math. NOT WORTH IT!!!I am/We are VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!A WASTE OF a Beautiful Saturday and money

The food was quite good but the portions were unexpectedly small and, thus, overpriced. Service was average. In addition, we were charged for plates to split the meal. There was no bread basket offered before or with dinner. When we asked for bread, we were given two (very delicious biscuits). When we received our bill, we were also changed for those.??‍♀️ I loved the Fairmont, but I will explore other dining options next time. However, one cannot beat the convenience, since this the Pyramid is inside the Fairmont Hotel.
