We have been going to Rafas for decades. The food is always good, the staff is nice, and the bar area is cool. Parking is limited but it's worth it to park and walk.

Amazing gem in the strip mall. Massive amount of food came out for the price I paid.Chips and salsa complimentary upon sitting. I sat in the bar and love the atmosphere in here, dark and quaint with immaculate vibes.I ordered the Mayan and two plates of food came out, delicious corn tortillas, guacamole, and bean and cheese.Highly recommend if in the area.

Enjoyed Sunday brunch with friends and all were happy and very full! Our food was hot, tasted fresh and it was very good--the portions were quite plentiful, too. I ordered puff chicken tacos and the chicken was succulent, juicy and well seasoned; I enjoyed every bite. The others in my group at breakfast dishes and by the time they finished their meal, all plates were clean! Their salsa isn't my favorite but it passes. Service was fast and friendly and the ambiance is very casual and relaxed. Rafa's is great for TexMex!

I chose Rafas in Dallas because my family friends told me about the restaurant. At Rafas, the food was the most delicious in Dallas. The food was hot when the waiter brought us the food. I liked the chicken and rice. The service was fast. He came to refill my drink many times. He was always happy. The atmosphere was fun. The restaurant played authentic music. The restaurant had good lighting too. Lastly, it was a very good experience!

Can’t believe I didn’t give it five stars. Our family has been going to Rafa’s for over twenty years. We love Jose and many on the staff know us by sight. There’s an entirely new and not so positive vibe these days since the new Manager came on board. The staff doesn’t seem very happy. Most new servers are not on top of things and the manager just walks around or hovers without creating any apparent value. It’s not unusual today to see portions reduced at restaurants, but when you start tampering with meat to veggie ratios in tacos and the like, that’s dumb greed. On my way back to the table from the men’s room, the manager was leaning against the front counter and would not move to allow me to easily pass.Is it just a bad day or the trend of bad management?Stay tuned!

This traditional Mexican restaurant is great. Affordable menu! The service is very attentive and friendly. I never went without a refill on my water or a dirty plate sitting on my table. Cool atmosphere and a lot of TV's if you're sat on the bar side. Parking is scarce when they're busy.
Average greasy Mexican food Ordered breakfast tacos - almost tasteless. Service was good Ambiance was busy and crowded Would not recommend this restaurant

Exemplary Tex-Mex fare and one helluva margarita menu. Family owned joint and you can feel that from the moment you walk-in (or don't if you eat on the patio). They have small bar which is as funky as it gets.

Any Dallas local knows that Rafas is a timeless classic in the realm of authentic Tex-Mex cuisines. Simply put, Rafas offers delicious homemade Tex-Mex fare that never fails to satisfy. The restaurant embraces traditional style Tex-Mex without going over the top like some establishments tend to do. When it comes to the food, Rafas confidently delivers savory dishes that are simple and flavorful. Their staff is also very kind and courteous and many we have gotten to know because we frequent often. For a well-rounded Tex-Mex affair, Rafas is always a reliable choice. Whether you're seeking a taste of classic dishes or a comforting atmosphere, this restaurant has it all.

They charged $16 for a margarita! That’s not proper pricing!
