The food was ok. But there’s got to be either- instructions before or right when you enter on how to order. Didn’t see tape arrows on the floor and got barked at by a male employee. Menus scattered in front, up high, on the counter, behind you, so if you haven’t been and they want you to be efficient and quick, it’s too confusing to do so. So feeling comfortable being there quickly went away. The food was good. Fresh and good. The drink was overpriced as the cantarito literally had half a fruit that took up a third of the drink I couldn’t even use the straw to drink it to to the citrus ride at the bottom. So I pretty much felt scammed in buying a drink, with no drink it. It was just a lot of money for a very awkward experience. The guy at the register was nice. Otherwise it just felt stuffy. I’m still not sure if this is supposed to be Mexican food. If you want Mexican food. This is not it.

I feel like I’m doing a disservice only being able to give this establishment 5 stars, if there was an option for golden goose eggs I would award it 1000 golden goose eggs for the superior service and beyond amazing food. Thank you guys for always being on point 🤙

Ordered the pecking duck and scallop tacos. Pretty good, however they are a bit on the saltier side. Way too salty for me but the tacos were overall very tasty. I think both tacos were cooked perfect and was textbook technique. Crispy pecking duck and perfect sear on the scallop.
However, my intentions were to come here to try the BEC sandwich but was told they’re out of bread. A bit off putting since they ran out of bread but it was only 1300.

The best tacos. Fresh and flavorful. Favorites include the cauliflower and carne asada. Also love the watermelon cucumber salad and the elote. And don't sleep on the hot sauce!

Good, refreshing spin on tacos here in Dallas. Also, really recommend the guac - it's unique.
Delicious! Me and my parents both tried the restaurant on separate occasions and loved it!
The escargot was my favorite
but also really liked the Puking duck,
Mexican elote was really good too. I felt like 2 tacos per person is just right, maybe 3-4 if you’re really hungry.
Look forward to coming back soon

Resident Taqueria has been called out a lot on local food influencers. I assume they had paid reviews it was a big let down and it was over hyped. The menu was very confusing it’s listed on the wall you have to choose quick as the line goes out of the door kind of awkward as it’s all over the place. But the cashier kindly answered all my questions but it was kind of like a rush as people were waiting you barely get to think.
Food was big let down the chips very way over salted and the salsa was mediocre. The fundido was mediocre the tortillas were fresh and warm so that a win. I tried different tacos— paneer tikka was tasting bitter not sure what messed up, shrimp taco was decent, the chicken taco tasted like pulled pork and cauliflower taco could have used some better seasoning the taco size is small so it’s barely 2-3 bites kind of hard to figure out the flavor.
The dirty rice is a joke it’s a small sized dish of rice which is charged $5-6 bucks I mean the flavors were soo bland i wasn’t sure what’s all the hype about.

the food is good! But the service wasn’t really good! I got there 5:55pm. I suppose qualified for happy hour but the cashier was doing something else and doesn’t want to take my order! So it wait until 6:03 to take my orders and the cashier said I can’t order happy hour anymore
