Wow. What a great experience. Heard about the this traditional Mexican meal in a tasting format. Really Mexican food tasting menu? Wow. Yes. Initiate table for 8 in the back. Each plate was nicely plated with many beautiful flowers. Flavors were awesome! Must do. $180pp plus drinks and tips.

I went for the experience of dining at a restaurant that felt like someone's living room, and left with excellent memories of delicious and inspired cuisine. The thoughtfulness that went into all the dishes was evident and carefully executed. Outstanding experience!

What you're paying for is the service and the atmosphere; it's more about the experience definitely not about the food. While there are some good dishes, the main dish of pork with mole was dry and uninspired. It was kind of roulette with which dishes were good and which were bad. The Seabass dish was kind of gross, small but of seabass with flavorless beet sauce and a raw squash. The salsa was delicious. Their quesadilla was delicious. Their dessert was kind of them googling most popular Mexican desserts, and putting them in front of us. For the amount that you are paying, you would expect a higher level of food and higher attention to detail. Would not go back or recommend to others

A truly memorable experience. Dining at the chef's table was such a gift. The food was not only delicious but through the chef's use of artistic expression he transformed the dish into a work of art. To heighten the experience, we learned the heritage of each dish and were honored to meet the family at the end of the meal. Thank you for such a special evening that exceeded our expectations and ranks as one of our best dining experiences in Dallas.

I'm visiting from out of state excited to try the food. The environment was not welcoming. No one spoke or greeted us. After a family member advised not to even eat here. We still decided to purchase from this establishment. The food was not as described advised that we couldn't get a refund and we would have to call and talk to the owner. We requested a replacement and advised they could and then advised we couldn't because they started cleaning it. We left with no refund or replacement. I gave my food to a homeless lady. May God bless her. I will never recommended this establishment to anyone. Please greet your customer with a smile Please be polite Treat everyone like they are someone.

We were really excited to try this place based on the reviews and photos of the food we saw. Cool, colorful atmosphere. You order at the counter and then sit. They have indoor and outdoor seating. I found the menu to be small and expensive. The prices listed are per taco and ranging up to $15 for one taco. Unfortunately, the food does not taste as good as it looks. We found the food to be underwhelming and lacking flavor for the price and compared to other Mexican restaurants. We ordered 3 different tacos and the chicken flautas.

Purepecha is one of the most unique dining experiences in Dallas. It’s like being invited into a traditional Mexican family dining room, where you experience some of the most delicious and inventive dishes served by a very talented family team. Food here is excellent across the board, with seasonally changing menus. The service is warm, welcoming and tells a great story. Atmosphere is the only real let down, but I think they are trying to do the best with what they have available. Great spot for a super-casual, high-end foodie tasting menu.

Authentic and intimate chef's table experience with thoughtfully crafted courses that tell the story of a centuries-old town in Mexico...a real treat for a date night or other special occasion!

Is the food good, yes, is it relatively expensive af for a taco place, also yes. The carne asada taco was insanely flavorful. Wish I had gotten 10 of those.

Great food and service. Party music was a great evening vibe, but it was a bit too loud for me.

Wonderful, creative food in an environment that reminds you of eating in someone's home served by the family who lives there. In reality, it is a family affair to prepare the food and Gino who describes each dish always paints a beautiful picture of the dish and its ingredients and its significance. Dining room seats only 8 at a communal table. Best restaurant experience in Dallas.

Tacos were passable, granted I've had better at a gas station Taqueria for 1/3 of the price. Service was non existent, unpleasant, and pretty in-hospitable for a restaurant with such culinary praise. We went on a weekday when it was slow and servers looked they wanted to be anywhere else or to just talk to their friends who came to the bar rather than talk to patrons who were interested in the food or concept. Food again was OK, quality tortillas and ingredients, but for $12 for 1 tiny 4 bite street taco and no service, and the ambience of sitting in a Gas Station kitchen, staring at dorty dishes in the sink, flies buzzing around, and just utter filth, its an understatement to say I left pretty unimpressed.

Best dining experience in Dallas. A rare, truly family owned and operated restaurant.
