We came to this restaurant for our wedding anniversary. The food was outstanding and the service was first rate. Our four-course menu was served in an intimate setting with just six other diners. All diners were served the same dishes at the same time. We actually got to meet the family that was cooking the meal. Each course was explained in detail. There are only two downsides to this restaurant. One is its location in Deep Ellum. Getting there and parking can be very difficult and expensive. The area is also noisy with lots of bars and nightclubs. The other is that the restaurant is very expensive. The four-course tasting menu was $150 per person (an increase of $25 per person from just the week before we made the reservation). We had two cocktails ($25 each), a mocktail ($10), and two bottled waters ($7). 20% gratuity is automatically included. By the time we left, with tax, we had spent $470 for two people to have dinner. It is one of the more expensive meals we've ever had in Dallas. We will come back, but because of the cost and location, this is a “special occasion“ only restaurant.

What a fantastic experience. Hard to know what to single out as the standout element. All I can really say is that we will be back.

We had the 8 course meal at Purepecha and everything about it was incredible. They definitely have something special here.

Incredible experience with attention to detail. Perfect intimate setting for a special occasion with owners who take pride in long standing recipes passed down in their family.

We had a lovely time. 4 table private dining experience. All the meals were chef prepared and explained. The experience was cozy, fun and relaxed. There are parking lots close by with open spaces. We would dine again. We were so full off 4 courses we had to pleasantly waddle back to our car. Enjoy.

We had reservations for the 7-course tasting on Friday to celebrate our anniversary. The experience took place in a small, intimate setting right in the kitchen with Chef Regino and his family. They spoke with us between courses, sharing personal stories and family traditions that added depth to each dish. Every course was a true work of art—beautifully plated with edible flowers and exquisite presentation. The flavors and textures were thoughtfully combined, reflecting both cultural heritage and culinary creativity. We were able to take our time, savoring each dish while watching Chef Regino prepare the next one with care and precision. We're already talking about when we can go back. It was a wonderful experience, and we can't wait to share it with friends and family when they come to visit.

The experience was great. I loved the chefs style of the flowers. Definitely a twist on Mexican cuisine. I loved how the it's the family cooking together. Highly recommend experience for a special occasion

We chose Purepecha for the dining experience during a staycation for our anniversary. We visited two other fine dining establishments during the trip, and Purepecha was our favorite by far. Such an incredible opportunity, and our host was fantastic. I think we will return every year. I could post all the pictures I took, but I think it adds to the experience to see it for yourself. Everything is done so well and beautiful presentation.

Fabulous experience, authentic Mexican cuisine cooked home style. Amazing food and service with love. My only feedback is that the 7 course meal is a lot of food...best to skip lunch if you wish to enjoy all the courses. Needless to say, they are gracious enough to pack the left overs if you cannot complete all the courses.

Not worth the price at all. In the very back of hole in the wall place with storage and no music. Wasn't really a tasting menu just 5 different plates (ie sea bass and rice, pork and rice, etc)

Purepecha is incredible. Dinner here felt like stepping right into a scene from the movie Nonnas. Warm, nostalgic, and full of heart. It felt like being back in abuela's kitchen. Comforting, familiar, and full of flavor. If we're ever back in Dallas we'll definitely be back.

This culinary experience was truly exceptional. It stands as the finest dinner I have visited in Dallas to date. The innovative dishes, coupled with the exceptional service, elevated the overall experience to an unparalleled level. I highly recommend it.

Magical. The food was harmonious and so beautiful. It was a perfect way for me to set the stage for the proposal that came later that night. Thank you for having us and making this perfect night perfect. I will be thinking about this food the rest of my life.
