This place has horrible food I got fish and chips. I got sick and there was more fish grease crumbs than fish. One bite and I was vomiting all night please be careful eating out. The fish and chips smelled like old grease oil that has not been change

I had high hopes for the lobster roll after seeing someone else with one. But I was pretty disappointed. The portion amount was decent just not fresh and fell apart. The sweet potato fries were decent though.

Great location and food. Just a little pricey for the delivery but delicious so is it worth it? yes. Friendly counter staff. Excellent sides.

Lobster roll, bread pudding, and crab/spinach dip ($52.00) fries were very hard but the lobster roll was good overall. Spinach dip was also fresh and well prepared. Now that bread pudding PHENOMENAL 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

I’ve been a regular at Rex and usually the food is ok and convenient, but my recent visit was disappointing. I ordered the Red Snapper and Crab Pasta. The snapper was served as a filet instead of the whole fish, which is unusual for Dallas. While I didn’t mind that, the flavor was completely absent. The real issue came with the Crab Pasta, which not only lacked seasoning but also had crab shells throughout. This dish was meant for my two-year-old, but I’m glad I checked it first—it was unsafe and unpleasant.

For a $45+ meal, I expected much better quality and consistency. I hope this was just an off day, but it left me questioning whether to return.

I tried to order the salmon hot dog, but they didn't have the ingredients for it. I ordered the smoked trout dip, which was $8.99 on their menu board. It was dip and about 10 tortilla chips. The dip was 90% cream cheese with large chunks of unmixed cream cheese in the center. I was charged $14 for it when I got my bill, because apparently this was the appetizer size. I wouldn't want to share 10 chips with a group of friends.

Google is looking for whole fried catfish, and this location pulled up. This location parking is a pain. No where to park. I went at 1:45 pm after lunch crowd. Lastly, this location does not offer whole catfish. She also told me that it comes to prepare. All they do is fry it.

I used to come here for lunch every week just for the soup.
We did happy hour and took advantage of the 2 buck oysters. They were yummy. This place never disappoints..ou
r server Dominic was very friendly and attentive. The calamari was good too, but we couldn't even finish it because we got full off the two bucks shuck. Hands down my go to for fresh seafood!

Highly disappointed! Had a taste for some cod and got let down. Everything was super greasy and no flavor. Everything looked great but actual taste was very bland. The sweet potato waffle fries weren’t even cooked al the way through. Atmosphere was nice though.

Always enjoy the layback vibes of Dallas farmers market. The restaurant is inside “the market” and they have a good selections of oysters! The portion and quality of food is average and cost is a little high but that’s everything else at the farmers market. The service here is just average or below. We had to ask them for things and they don’t just come to you and check (not even a thank you either). ?‍♀️
