NATURALLY DAY’S EYE

The ambience is amazing. Service was good. My food looked good and even tasted better. We were given the option to dine in or outside. If it was a lil warmer, that would have been awesome. The menu has many options from brunch to dinner and so much variety that it makes it difficult to order. The restaurant name on google is misleading. The restaurant is called lazy dog and they happen to sell road-trip bowls. The entire plaza and google will have you lost looking for a restaurant. There was another lady lost and looking for a restaurant too. I told her good luck as she wanders around. The food made up for the mishap. I love dining in Texas.

The restaurant has sports viewing and the environment is fun a definitely a great hangout spot. The food is very American but does not overdue it with fried nor unhealthy options. The prices are very reasonable and the outdoor patio has a roof covering with dog friendly treats. The staff are more than helpful to feed and even provide treats to your dog. They even have a pup menu!

Excellent! We had four adults and two kids. Everyone loved their meal. The kids food was warm but not too hot they couldn’t eat. The crispy deviled eggs and bacon candy are a must try! We were seated immediately and food came timely.

I am a big fan of this chain mainly because of the variety of delicious food. I always take visitors because there is something for everyone. My Houston friends were in town picking up their dog from their sister. So we met at this location and they brought their dogs to take advantage of the dog friendly patio. Unfortunately, we had no accounted for it being a football weekend. The patio was packed with people & dogs. The dogs were well behaved, but the people were football fans so it freaked out some of the dogs because of the noise. Our food was good except one of our party ordered the cordon blue which sadly tough. Still one of my favorite places, but would not use the patio on a football weekend.

We went for my son‘s birthday the best part of the meal was a dessert the eggs are running my dad‘s biscuit gravy and whatever else he had on that plate I didn’t even recognize his food was horrible. I think my oldest son got a grilled chicken Caesar salad I’m not for sure my vegan daughter-in-law got avocado toast which I had as well which was pretty decent. My mom had some type of egg dish with bacon I just wasn’t memorable at all the sides the desert the server was really great and I can’t remember her name I ate here at the first couple weeks it opened and it was much better. Which isn’t saying much because it was average back then I don’t think I would ever go back I was extremely disappointed in the quality of the food I think I could’ve done better with a canned biscuit and a packet of gravy mix.

Met with friends at Lazy Dog. We ate outside on the patio. The area was sufficiently quiet to talk with our friends. The food choice is wonderful, whether you are looking for comfort, gluten-free, WW, or various favorites. Most of our party enjoyed a glass of wine, while I choose a locally brewed blonde beer. The wait staff was attentive despite the crowd. And we really enjoyed all of the dog owners that enjoyed dinner or a light meal with some wine. It is a fun place to go.

The queso was oily and the cheese was not creamy at all. Looks like they threw my food together last minute. The bowl I ordered (the tofu was rubbery) the food was just not up to standards. I won’t be back. The chicken Parmesan was so gross that in the morning, I’m calling the bank to pull the whole charge back. The food was not edible. This is why I should have looked at it first on a take out order..

After a year of take out and eating outside, we felt bold enough to eat inside. Not a problem as they had glass partitions between the booths and everything was spaced out appropriately. We decided to try (1) the Veggie Omelet and (2) Breakfast Club. Both were very good and we topped it off with with Orange Juice mimosas. A perfect way to start the Easter day. Our wait staff (Mikheil) was excellent and made sure everything went well. Normally we eat outside there but this was a nice change.

The food was great, but being blindsided with a bill for our dog was extremely frustrating. I wish the staff would have been upfront about costs, rather than trying to achieve a higher bill.
