First time here and I was not disappointed. Their service was very fast and friendly. The server was very attentive and also let us know what was good to eat there. Their burger did not disappoint and those fries, OMG, so good! They had a good crowd for early lunch. The music selection was great altjough a little to loud. The TVs had RuPaul's Drag Race on. Overall very people friendly, delicious food and fun atmosphere will be coming here again.

Music is low enough to have a conversation. Service is wonderful and attentive, even when busy. Food is really good. They've added new things and the K-Luv bites are really on point.

Old fashioned wasn't half bad either.

It has a retro vibe and we received great service from our server. Food was absolutely fantastic. Hole-in-the-wall style appeal with a nice patio on Cedar Springs. You'll be pleasantly surprised.

Arrive for dinner and sat on the patio as it was nice weather out! Asked about red wine and decided on the Cabernet. 5 minutes later server came back and said there was no Cabernet, so ordered the red blend. Ordered the hummus as an appetizer. Seven minutes later server came back and said there was no hummus. So, ordered the fries, which turned out to be good. For main course I ordered the fish tacos. Took 15 to get to me. When it did arrive, the “goldfish“ size of fish was covered in lettuce. Once I removed the lettuce, it was more like a one bite meal. Ordered another glass of wine and after 12 minutes of waiting, decided to go find the server and he just handed me the glasses of wine as he was walking around the inside talking to everyone. Service was VERY mediocre and food was unimpressive.

I’ve been there before and felt the same way. Was really hoping that after new ownership, something would change.

Probably will not return. Giving two stars because at least the fries were good…

Very sad that there is no longer a restaurant that offers good food and service in the gayborhood. You really have to go uptown or to Knox area to get good food and service now…

I came in to enjoy the parade and requested Kadi. The operational manager’s behavior was unprofessional for reasons I cannot understand. She met us outside the restaurant, but as we were seated, an operational male in a red shirt approached her, yelling that if she did not go home, she would be fired in five minutes.

As a patron who visits five days a week, I am deeply disappointed. Please treat your employees with the respect they deserve; they are the reason we, as customers, continue to come.

Their new menu is great! We went for brunch. The potatoes were perfection and the eggs were excellent. The bacon crispy and cold brew fresh. The servers are friedlndly, polite and prompt.

Can we talk about the affordable prices? I am not sure how they keep the brunch prices so low.

And if you're trying to get your brunch crew drink on, try to tower mimosa.

Probably my favorite place to go. Everyone is nice and I just enjoy the overall atmosphere. Gets pretty busy sometimes, but I'll definitely wait the extra 2 minutes for fresh food and the service.

The service is always slow. Make sure you ask for the check when the food comes back because that's the last time you'll see your server.

I am a vegetarian. I ordered the vegan Caesar salad which says on the menu it has fried chickpeas. The food finally comes out with just crotons and lettuce for $11. I ask the server and he said "oh we don't have chickpeas" as if he already knew. The manager said nobody notices because they always order chicken. He did not care at all.

So I ordered an Impossible (veggie) burger instead. 15-20 minutes later a beef burger comes out. The manager ran away. There is a reason it's always empty. This place USED to be good. Not anymore.

Roy G’s in Dallas is a fantastic spot with a vibrant, colorful, welcoming vibe. The food is flavorful and well-prepared, and their cocktails are both creative and perfectly balanced. Erin took amazing care of us, and is such a spooky delight. Highly recommend for a fun night out!
