If you’re hungry get the waffle fries. These things brought me back to my youth.Great location near AAC. We went after a Stars game.

Disappointing Experience at Royal 38I recently visited Royal 38 Cocktail Bar and my experience left much to be desired. The overpriced menu, reminiscent of Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares, featured basic dishes like chicken tenders and waffle fries, lacking the creativity one might expect. Even the brisket nachos failed to impress. The pricing was exorbitant, with a small IPA costing a steep $9 and cocktails priced at $15 and above. The atmosphere, while seemingly a selling point, doesn't justify the expense. The furniture was cheap, tables wobbly, and the complimentary tap water seemed like a poor substitute for the high prices on the menu. The service, unfortunately, matched the mediocrity of the offerings. My group was checked on only twice throughout our visit, contributing to an overall lackluster experience. For a place where a cheeseburger sets you back $19 and drinks range from $9 to $15, one would expect more attentive service and at least filtered water. In conclusion, Royal 38 Cocktail Bar left me unimpressed, and I won't be returning. My advice to others: save your money. To those giving 4-5 star reviews, I encourage you to explore other options because this establishment falls short.

Parking: $10 valet parking. That kid was alright.

I have never written a review MID MEAL but this deserved it!We walked into a dimly lit restaurant on a Wednesday expecting it to be closing. It was not. We were happily greeted and seated immediately. Every drink ordered was great and then the food!I am writing this in between hiccups because I ate so much and want to go eat moreWe ordered the Mac n Cheese - good. That’s the worst thing we tasted and it was good!An amazing Keith Lee 10 stars goes to theWaygu Beef FritesThe deviled eggsThe lobster fritters and thecrab fried rice!We literally just pushed every plate to the middle of the table and ate from eat like quietly humming mmmmmmm. The waiter was absolutely amazing. The alcohol was refreshed. My water never got empty and he even provided some laughter!I am definitely bringing other people here! Let me check out happy hour. I live here now!Sorry the pictures sucked! I did not expect to be leaving a review!

Thomas was very knowledgeable about the menu and made me a delicious mocktail even though I don’t drink alcohol! The atmosphere was nice and we had a great night, thanks again!

One of the best bar and restaurant I have been to so far in the area. They have won our trust and business so many times. Excellent and very friendly service, best tasting food especially their vegan chorizo and truffle fries are to die for. Also they have variety of themes for occasions and I love them.Agin did I say best service, Chad and others just show how much they love and respect their guests. I feel so welcomed and looks like all the employees like their job and that’s the best thing a management can do.Every other bar should learn from themCustomer satisfaction - 100/10Food taste 10/10Mocktail creativity 10/10Vibe - 100/10

I selected this restaurant for my birthday dinner because of a tik tok I saw. However, the service and ambiance more than exceeded my expectation. From the moment I walked in they truly made me feel so comfortable when birthdays usually make me a nervous wreck. The service from Cody and Paul was stellar. They danced and sung with my party guest the entire time. They allowed us to be our loud selves lol and enjoy each others company. I could not have asked for a better experience. 10/10!

The appetizers, lobster corn fritters, deviled eggs, and chicken sliders were delicious. The drinks were good but not great. The decor and service were nice.

Thanks for hosting our large party of 10 before the Stars-Pens game. You were about the only restaurant that could take us. Food and service was good. Beer selection could be a little better. Not all of your taps had beer on them. I like the small menu.

Was excited about their happy hour and then I got this tuna nacho for $8... Two chips for $8!! Wild. Then the check came and they tried to charge us $26 for this pathetic nacho and two happy hour beers ($5 each). The manager then changed the total to $20 which was still wrong but at that point not worth the fight for $2. Go somewhere else!!!

This place was awesome. We went before Xmas and the place was decorated incredible. The drinks were also great. Highly recommend.

Went for the holiday popup featuring the Grinch. 2 bars, one downstairs and the other, upstairs. The drinks were worth the price and just as strong, while the food menu was a bit pricy with slim pickings. Overall, good first experience and would go back.
