My step mom always talks about Rudy's chicken. She worked at the Fiesta a long time ago and would buy Rudy's often, so I decided to try it. I have to say that is eeeh... Más o menos... My fries were cold. Flavor is alright. Thank you for the extra piece of chicken tho.. I shared a piece. The good thing is it's closer than another chicken place I tried... So I might be back.

I used to eat here all the time. Haven't in a long while but yesterday since I was back in the neighborhood I decided to take my sons to eat there and to my utter disappointment it was a total waste of $40. The fries were old and stale. The chicken was really dry, especially the breast which by the way no longer look like chicken breast. The service wasn't up to par at all as the friendly customer service they used to have when the had their old building is long gone. They treated customers as if they were an inconvenience to them. If this is the new world order @ Rudy's these days, I can say I won't be back anytime soon. For whatever it's worth I was very disappointed in the food.

I was missing Rudy’s Chicken I haven’t been in six years, I decided to go today and the food was horrible, I ordered six wings, chicken was lukewarm, fries were cold and dried out, I ask for extra seasoning and was charged $2.00 for a little cup, I won’t be back.

This was my first time and I had to stop by before heading back to Houston. I went early around opening so there wasn’t a very long wait. Maybe 10 minutes all together and I was in line around 10:50am. The lady on the speaker was nice enough to give me details when I asked how the meal came, but I could hear her conversing with the cook about another orders details. lol Not that big of a deal to me, but they could work on that because it was confusing honestly trying to figure out who they are talking to. I ordered my 5 piece chicken meal with an extra side of seasoning like some reviewers suggested. I’m glad I asked for the extra seasoning that came on the side, because the flavor on the chicken is inconsistent. Some spots are flavorful others are super bland. They had the soggy-like shoe string fries with bread at the bottom and top of the meal that people were talking about. I didn’t mind because that’s what they are know for traditionally doing. I also tried the sauce, not a fan of the flavor or watery consistency. Overall I wouldn’t go back, but it was cool to try. There’s a sign notifying customers that the price increased after a certain date, but if this is the standard go back to lower prices honestly.

The chicken was very good and warmish, the fries were hard and cold. I didn’t get what a paid for so check your order before you drive off. I paid for a breast wing thigh and drumstick.. I got 2 wings instead of my breast and the employee said nothing about it being substituting anything. Good chicken

This use to be our favorite chicken spot. However, our last three visits were sub par. After sitting in the drive thru for almost 40 minutes because the speaker didn’t work, someone came outside to take orders. Our chicken was dry, overcooked and the fries were full of grease. All while people are coming and going with food orders from the side door. We were so disappointed.

It would’ve been a strong 5. The chicken was good, but I’m noticing that you guys are cutting corners. Y’all are Cutting the chicken thighs in half and charging us as if they were two… That is not cool… Deceptive practices.

The order taker was very rude it was my first time here and I didn't know you have to specify which pieces you want and the lady was raising her voice rushing my order being very unprofessional and unkind while interacting with customers. After I pulled up the intercom was still on and I over heard her and a few others inside laughing and joking about other customers not a place I would give my money or support

It really saddens me to say this I haven’t ate at Ruby‘s in a few months and yesterday I got a charge on my card that I spent money at Ruby‘s!!!!!! Please be careful because someone there had to take a picture of my card or write down my card information because there was definitely a charge made. They are obviously scamming people !!!! This is really pathetic and a coward move on the behalf of the establishment please don’t use your credit cards or debit cards at Rudy’s.

I love their chicken wings. Yesterday I arrived about 20 mins after opening. I guess they had a late start as the drive thru was barely moving and the walk up was closed. But shortly after they everything got to moving. I had to order at the window and my order was ready and given to me with my payment and receipt. Food was hot and fresh. They used to serve the shoestring size fries now they serve the bigger sized fries, which I don't like.
