Excellent spot for tasty Italian food. Honestly my favorite evening place. Next time I'll be back with my friends. Feeling here is like a restaurant in Fort Worth I liked.

McKinney location closed many years ago but Dallas location on Royal at Preston is still great!

Tom Ruggeri is the Ultimate Host with Iconic Dishes like Chicken Kiev, Fresh Baked French Bread & Butter, Rich Dark Coffee & Scrumptious Salads. Unfortunately, CLOSED due to October 2019 tornado.

I often take my friends to this restaurant with my warmest recommendations. I go to this restaurant often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The meals are great and the stuff is efficient and cooperative. always when we visit this place we pass a lovely time. I warmly recommend this restaurant.

Italian food and the setting at this spot is excellent. Looking forward to returning with my friends. Prices were average for the menu. Mood here is similar to Fresno's scene.

One of my fav locations for quality italian food. Entered near ten, it was not crowded. Next time I'll be back with my relatives. The bill was appropriate for the quality. Food is like a restaurant in Jacksonville I liked.

Just got home from Ruggeri's and clearly it was not the Ruggeri's of old. Great atmosphere, table cloths were a nice touch, mature/experienced wait staff, management/owner table visits, quiet enough to have conversation, and, comfortable piano music. But unfortunately the food stopped short of expectations. Great baked oysters, darn good Italian sausage appetizer, but entrees were overcooked/"mushy" ----almost seemed that they were cooked (overcooked) in the same pan whether they be Chicken Parmigianoor or Vitello di Parmigiano. Sorry to say that with so many choices of restaurants there is no reason to go back.

Old school, great food and atmosphere! Live piano music a plus.

First impression: the interior looks like a restaurant you'd see on the show, kitchen nightmares. It looks outdated and too dark. We were offered cocktails but they didn't have an actual bartender. I believe the waiter or manager was making them so we passed on them. The house garlic bread was very good. My wifes pasta was pretty decent but my pasta was undercooked.
