Esco Bar Tapas is a hidden gem in Dallas! From the moment I walked in, the customer service was top tier—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The food and drinks were absolutely amazing, especially the lamb chops and catfish—perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The ambiance is beautiful, with a cozy, stylish vibe that instantly makes you feel at home. Honestly, it’s the kind of place that makes you want to stay all day, just soaking in the good energy. I’ll definitely be back and will make it a point to return anytime I’m in Dallas. Highly recommend!

Now, let’s talk about the food—oh my goodness! I had the chance to try their soul food egg rolls, and they were simply out of this world. These rolls are good 🔥🔥🔥🔥
This was unfortunately the worst experience we've had at this restaurant, despite being regulars. My wife and daughter are loyal customers and have always loved dining here, but tonight was a major disappointment. I ordered the new Lobster Carbonara item, and something was clearly off. The pasta was drenched in an overwhelming amount of sauce, so much so that it completely overpowered the flavors of the lobster and pancetta. I mentioned this to our waitress, but she insisted that this was the normal portion of sauce, which made no sense. There was enough sauce for three servings, while the pasta itself was quite small in portion. The sauce-to-pasta ratio was completely off, and I found myself wiping off the excess just to enjoy it. Overall, it was a very underwhelming dish that didn't meet the usual high standards we've come to expect from this restaurant.
Really enjoyed our dinner at Sloane's Corner. We had a variety of items and all of them were excellent. Every staff member was legitimately friendly and efficient. We were sat at a nice table near the front windows but unfortunately the sun glaring off the neighboring building was blinding us so they cheerfully moved us to another table. Great Happy Hour, too! We'll be back!
Everything was so fresh and so delicious. It was our first time there and we were heading to an event at the Dallas Museum of Art. We decided to get several of the 'share plates' and they did not disappoint. Delicious.
Food is dependably good. We had a new somewhat non-trained server unfortunately for a business lunch. I often will slip my credit card to the server as we are ordering just to let them know it's one ticket and I am paying. Mistake #1- they brought the check during the meal. Instead of asking if anyone wanted dessert. Mistake #2 was- when I looked inside the folder at the check, she did not include the itemized check- we were a large party and it said “additional tip” which is fine but I would like to review the charges. She was unclear on the normal process and it was awkward. I finally got across to her what I needed but it made more of a scene with my business lunch guests than I wanted.
Been there twice during my time in Dallas. Both times the food was fabulous- big portions - sharing is a good idea. Our server was Desiree - she's awesome! Made the out of towners welcome and relaxed. She's a gem!
Wonderful ambience from a little corner bistro near the Art Museum. The service was excellent with attentive staff and a kitchen staff that's adept at cooking American fare. They have little twists on American dishes which add different dimensions to things like pork chops and steaks. It's a good place for a date night or happy hour as they have a happy hour menu as well.
Second time dining here, another excellent experience. Highly recommend this restaurant for business lunches. The food is high quality, prices are reasonable, and portion quite large. This is an excellent restaurant.

Shhh! Don't tell anyone about this hidden gem. With lots of glass windows, the interior creates a cool vibe- in the middle of the city, but kind of tucked away in a “corner”- like in its name. The location is perfect, just 2 short blocks from the museum district. As for the dining experience itself: excellent service, lovely innovative dishes, and beautiful cocktails. You'll love it.
Could have been an off night with a new server but this guy needed 2 people to help him get things right. First he delivered the wrong wine for one friend (free glass of chardonnay, hey), then the other 3 of us ordered the $5 martini (which was really small) and forgot to make one dirty and all of them needed olives. When 1 friend received her clams he took her dinner plate and left her nowhere to place her empty shells. As always ambience was fantastic and food was terrific.
waited 1 hr and 30 minutes for our food drinks were not strong at all my lamb chops taste as if they were drenched in vinegar the mimosas and 2 other cocktails i had were served in plastic wine glasses the bathrooms nasty stained toilets sticky floors 3 out 10 rating would not recommend ive spent $100 bucks in better outside mom and pop spots
Perfect pre show dinner! Really amazing value for the food we received, especially in this area. Appreciate our server asking what time we were aiming to leave and ensuring quick service. Pork chop was fantastic, seared perfectly and nice and juicy inside. Saffron pasta was incredible. Will be back when in the area for sure!
This was our first time at Sloane's Corner. The food was great and well priced. Their drink prices were excellent and ours came appropriately garnished! They do need to include a note about their location. The restaurant is in the Tramell Crow Center and the building's public parking is not well identified. A quick note about where the parking is would of saved us about 15 minutes.
