First time there with my spouse, which had been there over 30 years ago, he said the place is the same. Our waitress don't recall her telling us her name. But she was great, food delicious and pecan praline ice was perfect! We will traveled some distance, but we will be back!

S&D Oyster was phenomenal. Hands down the best fried shrimp I’ve ever had…perfectly crispy, not greasy or overly breaded, just unreal. The Blue Point oysters were out of this world and packed with flavor.
Huge shoutout to Pepe, our waiter! He was knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly knows his stuff. He even mixed us a custom cocktail sauce to match our exact taste, which is next-level service in my book.
Couldn’t recommend this place more. If you love great seafood and even better service, don’t sleep on S&D Oyster.

Walk in here and you’re transported back in time. It could be 1925 or 1936 or 1951. The tiled floor, the old world service, the seafood is amazing. I love taking people here for the first time. They are always blown away. Don’t miss this if you’re in the area.

As a restaurant that embodies the New Orleans vibe/food, it is fair. A bit pricey oysters. The straw that broke the camel's back was having to wait one hour to sit down at lunch. Yes, it was crowded, however, the host waited until everyone in a party of nine showed up to the restaurant. Typically, parties are not seated until everyone shows up and the people waiting behind them on the list are then seated. That did not happen! For the prices of the food, I would expect great service from the beginning.

Had not been in 40 years. I was in Hospitality business for years and besides from working in live music clubs only worked in seafood restaurants until 2002.so I guess that's why we quit going. Once more this has become my favorite seafood place. Everything was so wonderful and tastyl my grown children couldn't believe we had never been before.
