I am sorry to say I was disappointed. The price they charge $30 for 2 egg benefits on a biscuit?? When food arrived, it was warm. The salmon didn't taste right. The service was not good. The front concierge unfriendly, I would say they were snobby. The waiter is non-existent. Even though I told them I was told not to come here because of the food and the service. It did not matter to him what my thoughts were. Instead of having us a pleasant brunch, he was non-existent, not even a smile. They were not busy, and I had to watch him from a distance to try to get his attention. The food was not good, not for the price. I told the manager I would never be back. The young manager should be going around the tables. Asking everyone How is the food?Is there anything you'd like to share with me. That restaurant continues having people because of the location. I should have paid attention to the reviews. I noticed the manager was more around the back of the restaurant . I went to Cafe dior a completely a different experience. It was disappointing to be there. I did express my feelings & unpleasant experience to the manager. For me, the energy of the staff is what makes the atmosphere not the decorations

I’m extremely disappointed with the experience at this restaurant today. From the moment I arrived, things were frustrating. Despite having a 2:15 reservation and arriving early, we were made to wait an unreasonably long time. What’s more, the front desk staff was unusually unfriendly, and I watched as they seated a 2:30 reservation before ours. We were then led to a table that hadn’t even been properly cleaned.(P2)
To make matters worse, when our food finally arrived, I found a hair in one of the dishes – completely unacceptable. Throughout the meal, the service was virtually nonexistent. The server didn’t check in at all to see how we were doing or if we needed anything. The situation only got worse when I was given a dirty fork and had to wait a long time for it to be replaced by another server.
Lastly, the soup was shockingly greasy, as shown in the photo 1. I used to enjoy the food here and had visited multiple times, but after today’s experience, I don’t think I’ll be coming back..

Went for early lunch on a Wednesday. Not busy. Food was good, but service was not. Waiter seemed more interested in chatting up another table. Had to flag him down to get refills of water and tea. Actually had to walk over to ask for check. Our table had been cleared. Obviously finished. As mentioned , a bit expensive but to be expected in this location. Bagel was decent, sausage links very good. Breakfast tacos good.
Vegetarian options: Eggs and breads for vegetarians. Not much for vegans.
Dietary restrictions: Asked if we had allergies.
Parking: Valet parking at HPV is free, except for tip.
Kid-friendliness: Ok for kids.
Wheelchair accessibility: Seems navigable.

The food was definitely good. My bf and i got burgers and they were ok. As an appetizer we had gotten coconut shrimp which was the highlight of our meal. I probably would not come back here because it was so expensive and the seating was really close. It felt like we couldn’t have our own conversation. But nevertheless if you want to go somewhere to take pictures and eat decent food and youre willing to pay the price i say go

We had the dinner menu and now I see why there weren’t much reviews. It’s just weak on taste and flavor.

I ordered a gluten free bagel and ate it thinking it was safe. It was NOT gluten free and ended up getting very sick. Please be careful if you have any allergy and order from here
i wish i wrote this review more timely to our reservation. i believe we had brian as our waiter and he was great. super attentive and patient and thorough. loved him!! my hot take on sadelles is that the food is just mid. the caviar is great but there’s nothing else on the menu that i love. they do have gluten free options, pancakes and bagels. also, you can get a benedict on a potato latkes (essentially a hash brown).
Dietary restrictions: gluten feee pancakes, gluten free bagels, and potato latkes as substitutes!

Mostly a great location and a classic ambiance, unless the host/hostess tries to cram you in designated/crowded seating sections. Breakfast was OK, acceptable service.
My husband and I usually like Sadelle’s, but they have one GLARING flaw….
We went in and ordered food to go. I’m lactose intolerant so we ordered one item with no cream cheese. We got home to find they put cream cheese over everything!
Now here’s the issue - you can’t call them.
They do not accept phone calls, or at least never answer, leaving no way for you to complain about a messed up order. Super inconvenient when it was an $80 order for 2 lox sandwiches…. Now I’m stuck with food I can’t eat and no way to complain or be reimbursed.
It’s a lovely neighborhood around the mall with fancy brands. We ordered Eggs Benedict and scrambled eggs served with potatoes (they were delicious), along with an everything bagel with cream cheese. The orange juice came in a glass bottle from BUDA. The ambiance was beautiful, and the crowd was interesting.

Foods pretty good, and not badly priced for the area. Staff is nice. Here's the downfall....the people who go there. It's Highland Park, so it's going to attract affluent people. I had no idea how some people can act. Lady complained she was seated about 5-7 mins after her reservation time. It was Christmas day, so it was busy. That's the negative about this place, the customers.
Vegetarian options: Lots of options to not have meat

Not a lot of plant based options. The staff here is very tentative. It’s very clean. The atmosphere is very charming and cozy and inviting. They seemed to have a decent menu with a good variety. It is a little on the pricey side but it’s Highland Village parking is a bit tough Bathrooms are clean and well stocked. I’ll definitely come back if only for Coffee.

Nice place for lunch, especially if you're into people watching. The salmon platter is really good. The eggs are also well made, but I would skip the potatoes.
Why is it so hard for someone to acknowledge you and say hello when you walk in? Every time I have ever been I have had to greet the workers that are supposed to be greeting me. Worst customer service of any restaurant in the area
