I have tried many mediterran redaurants and this has to be the Best i have had. The rice and the chicen and beef kababs were sooooooo juicy and fresh. And You have to try there hummus and tezeki yogurt, oh it's amazing. I tell everyone about this place. The manager and or waitress treated US so kindly and super sweet. Made me feel like how My mom treats me. They also have a cool food mart with organic ingredientes that they use for there dishes that customers can buy as well. 10 Stas! The Best of the bessssst

The best food and service I had in long time. The quality of this Persian food is by far the best I ever had. The server was super nice and friendly. The appetizers me and my wife got were great and the kabobs are to die for. Highly recommend.

Today, I had a very unpleasant experience at a restaurant. I ordered two pieces of lamb shank with rice, and when I asked for the check, the total came to $38.89. I paid in cash and received $61.11 in change. Since I was dining alone and had ordered the food in advance, I decided not to leave a tip this time. Another reason was that I only had three $20 bills and a single $1 bill, so I didn’t have the right change to leave a proper tip.
As I left the restaurant, the server followed me outside, calling me back. She told me that whenever I eat at a restaurant, I am expected to leave a gratuity and that it was automatic. She then took me back inside and asked me to pay $5. Since I was on my lunch break from work and didn’t have time to argue, I paid just to get it over with and leave.
However, I felt very uncomfortable with the way she followed me out and pressured me to pay a tip. Their menu clearly mentions that an 18% gratuity is automatically added for parties of four or more, but I was dining alone. It felt as though she wanted to make me feel guilty for not tipping. I have decided that I will never return to this restaurant again.
The food was great. Service was good. The quality of food is worth the price. You can tell everything is made fresh with high quality ingredients

My husband and I are on a mission this year — every month we’re trying foods we’ve never had before. May was all about Parisian and Mediterranean flavors, so we decided to check out a place called Sahara, and wow. Just wow.
First off, when you pull up, it’s in a shopping center with plenty of parking. There are beautiful green plants outside that make the entrance feel really welcoming. When you walk in, the vibe is calm and cozy — tables, booths, soft music, and just a relaxing atmosphere. We grabbed a booth and got started.
Since we’ve never had Mediterranean food before, we didn’t really know what to expect. But let me tell you — the flavors popped! We started with water (super cold and refreshing) and then came the dips: creamy hummus and this white dip that had yogurt and cucumber in it (I think it’s called lebni?). I had never heard of that in my life, but it was so good with the warm, fluffy pita bread.
Then came the meat — we tried a variety of kebabs, and every single one was juicy, tender, and full of flavor. You could tell they marinate it with care. It wasn’t just food — it was a whole flavor experience. The staff even came by and explained how they prepare the meats, which we really appreciated.
And the rice! Okay, the rice was totally different than what we’re used to. It was long, fluffy, and cooked in a way that made it feel light but still full of flavor. Definitely not your average rice — and we loved it.
There were a few families there, everyone seemed to be enjoying their meals, and the energy in the place felt very “come as you are, stay as long as you want.” Even though it’s a small business, the food quality and service honestly felt like a high-end spot. It was our first Mediterranean meal, and it won’t be our last — especially not at Sahara.
If you’ve never tried this kind of food, don’t be scared. Your taste buds might just get the surprise of their lives. Ours sure did — and they’re already asking to go back.
Wife son and I went over for lunch OMG food was so good the service and the ambiance was excellent..
My honest opinion, I have tried many Persian restaurants in my time and this place is incredible. The beef and chicken kabobs taste so amazing and tender. And their appetizers are amazing. Don't bother trying other Persian restaurants in Dallas, this is the best. The owners are super friendly and waitresses are so kind as well.
The worst possible persian food I've ever tried. I have been there in the past . It was ok nothing special. I had to get food tonight to take home and this place was on my way. The price shocked me at first and the food when I got home and opened the containers wasn't fresh at all and looked and tasted like a left over. It looked like they have unfrozen some leftovers and I don't wonder why they kept me so long to prepare it. Very very disappointed and never go back again. Not recommended at all.

Top notch quality Persian food! Every dish tasted authentic and high quality. A must-try.
I liked the food and atmosphere.
They bring you free dessert.
They don't get tip but they have $8 service fee instead.
One of the best in the city if you are looking for halal Persian food. The chicken and kabobs are on the spot.
Amazing food. Must try the ground chicken skewers. Service was great. Atmosphere is Ok but considering the value, I have rated the atmosphere as 5 stars.

Never go here. Not a clean place, saw roaches and rats. Food was spoiled and was sick for several days. Worse staff and owner. ***To the reply ; you have the wrong person dear, never tried to leave when I was in there with two other people and they paid our lunch bill so you are lying, what a shame. Get your correct information before you reply and I know what I saw and I know I was sick for several days.
