I first came across Sandoitchi a couple years ago when they did a pop up at Goldee’s BBQ in Fort Worth. So today as we drove through Dallas we remembered they had a brick and mortar in Downtown Dallas. We stopped in and had three sandwiches, some Kobe steak chips, and two Yuzu Arnold Palmers. Everything was great! I wish the food cost as much as this food costs in Japan (300 yen a sandwich, which is like $3 USD), but hey, whaddya gonna do? This ain’t Tokyo BRUV! This is Dallas....
A little slice of Japan exists on Main Street across from the Big Eyeball. Tasty little Katsu-fried chicken sandos on milk bread are the order of the day. The curly fries were good. There’s a bar with some seating inside and several tables outside. You can enjoy your food while watching people get their photo op with the Big Eye in the background, which is kinda’ cool.
Went here for the first time a week ago, and it was an underwhelming experience. The place is small but so dirty. All the trashed were full and overflowing. The people working there seem like they hate it there, and the person taking the order seemed over it. The matchas aren't that good. The fried sando was tasty, though.
