Mushroom burger was overcooked, tough and barely edible. They forgot the special sauce as well. I immediately called back to give them a chance to rectify the situation and 5 days later have still not received a response. Overpriced and subpar food with terrible customer service.

Honestly, I'm rather disappointed. This has been one of my favorite places to go to for a burger for a long time, but lately, my experiences have been rather poor. Last time, it took an hour to get our food. Eventually, we were told, "Oops," it's just been sitting off to the side. And then we got cold food. This time, my burger almost completely fell apart in my hands. The bottom bun was maybe half of the size of a regular bun, and the burger was so messily made and soggy, that when I picked it up, the top bun ripped in half and pieces kept sliding out. I don't know if I'll be back. For the decently high prices, I would expect a better experience.

This is by far my favorite Shake Shack I've ever been to. The outdoor seating area is very cute and a great place to bring a family. The food and service was also up to standards. I have no complaints.
This is one of the BEST locations in the DFW area! Whenever I come into the store I am always greeted with a smile. The manager Robert runs a tight, efficient, crew! Everyone is in high spirits, and the food is ALWAYS top tier! From the positive atmosphere, customer service, cleanliness of the store, and EXCELLENT food, I will keep coming back to this location and highly recommend it to others! Robert especially deserves a promotion because there is nothing better then being a return customer and being remembered. He also told me about the truffle burger which is my fav thus far! God bless Robert and his crew, please pass on the compliment!

On August 27, I ventured into Shake shack on McKinney. now I initially went in places was nice and pleasant, but i am DoorDasher coming to pick up an order. I look over at the pick up area and there were no items placed so when I was going initially to the front to ask if the items being made or maybe how long it was going to be, I was interrupted by a employee saying that picked up food is on the side. I figured that they did not know that they were none over there in the place because of the angle they had. Which is understandable . Have I had not been interrupted in saying that there was no orders on that side I would’ve been OK. but the interaction that I received with a very big heavy set black guy that was on the right hand side cooking when I entered, left me with a bad taste in my mouth and highly frustrated calling someone inappropriate words just because of the confusion that you or they may have not known. It astonished me that he doesn’t think that we cannot hear him in the open kitchen. You are not behind a sound proof glass. Everything that you are saying I heard and was inappropriate. You don’t have to call someone out of their name or character. While talking to another coworker, he stated “that I saw him look over there and then come over here. Why they act stupid. It irks me. Etc….” Even as another coworker tries to explain maybe some people just doesn’t know and maybe it’s their first time. From this coming from an older person that should be wise and way more mature. Aswell able to handle a situation like this with self control. Keeping all negative and personal thought to contained to themselves. Especially while I am still in the store!!!!! is very disturbing. I later found out that the employee name is Rodrick. when trying to address the situation solely with him so would have to go no further to let him know that everything he said was heard I carry no ill will towards him, but the way he still handled that interaction was still poorly. And Lead me to talk to the manager Hunter, which is very polite and handled the situation accordingly. Hopefully in the future, he would take more consideration or thought into what he is saying when there is an open kitchen or better yet just keep everything in his mind. Personal problems or distain for the situation of people around you does not need to be openly said while working especially in an area where you’re directly in front of the customer.

I have got here a while and they always screw things up, don't bring your order to the table, and are always extremely slow. After 20 minutes of not getting my burger I go up there and ask. They said they had been calling me a while. I feel the burger and it is cold. So they ask me to take a number then sit down but don't bring it to me, like they ask. And after 20 minutes they don't feel the need to look around and bring it to a table with the number, but instead let it get cold.
Not going back. Smash Burger is right across the street.
