Great food! My wife loves Dungeness crab which is hard to find, but Shell Shack had it. The Oysters on the half shell were very fresh. The seasonings used in the boil were spot on.

I went here in 2021 a few tines and the boils seasoning was on point now in 2025 it's trash on top of having to pay to park in the parking this place is no longer a favorite good luck.finding parking on the street later in the evenings.

OMG TAE❤️ literally showed me some of the best customer service, literally put my whole bib on for me . Went the extra mile for me while I was there . Only seafood place I go to now when I want a boil. And I’m late writing this review and this is my 3rd time coming back since my first time and all of the staff are super friendly 💕

Ordered delivery to the hotel Zaza 1. Didn't like the Cajun sauce 2. Ordered 2 sides but they have given 4 3. Crab didn't taste fresh enough 4. Ordered to the hotel but no containers or plates were given despite mentioning it. $67 for substandard food.

I’m completely insulted after our visit tonight. We have been loyal customers of shell shack for 10+ years. This time we went and they wouldn’t let us eat there unless we gave them our id and they held it the entire time we were there. I asked why and they said gay people have dine and dashed there in the past and based on the way we dress they thought we were a risk. I was forced to let them keep my id the entire time me and my boyfriend ate there. In my entire life I have never been asked for my id to eat at restaurant! I will never return here and the entire staff including the manager working there tonight agreed with the server. We still gave him 18 percent tip because we know servers suffer a lot. But we are insulted and will not be back in the future. Next time it’s boiling crab for us.
