I've never lived in New York (thank God). But I did live in DC. I've had some great bagels. This is the best bagel option I've found in DFW, hands down. They make them fresh every day. Their salmon is outstanding. Their cream cheese is second to none (in my experience). Their coffee could use help but whatever. I go there for the bagels. I stop here every time I'm in the area. So do a lot of people. There's pretty much always a line and you can tell there...

Shug’s Bagels is good, but it does get very busy. I definitely recommend ordering ahead to avoid long wait times. They have a great selection of bagels and spreads, and everything tastes fresh. I love that they also have multiple locations around the Dallas area, which makes it very convenient. Overall, a solid spot that I’d recommend.
