Really wanted to love this place, we had a new server and she was the best, great atmosphere, but the food was bland. Croquettes were our favorite, but the paella had absolutely no flavor or salt, and the shrimp were mushy, and chicken wings instead of thighs felt very out of place. Sadly won't be on my go to places.

Had a great experience at Si Tapas. Excellent food with bold, well-balanced flavors and beautiful presentation. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service was attentive without feeling rushed. Perfect place to enjoy tapas, good conversation, and quality drinks. I’ll definitely be back.

Let's start with the positives: food is great. We shared the veggie paella between two and it was great. They had fun seating with mood lifting. The manager who greeted us seemed like a fun loving guy. It is a bit loud inside but great overall vibe at first glance. This is why it hurts to say the rest:

Maybe it was a bad night, but we may have had the worst service we've ever seen. We were seated and left alone for 40 minutes. We were confused about how the menu worked and were given rude/ brusque answers. When asked to be given a minute to decide, he (our waiter) gave us a disgusted look and then left us alone for ANOTHER 50 minutes. When I went up to ask the front lady if we could get our order taken whenever they were free, she was also rude with me.

Look, I generally am not one to complain. I dislike Karens and will brush most things aside. I understand dinner service can be tiring and stressful, so know I will only point things out when they're especially egregious (feel free to look through my other reviews if you want proof). I'm saying this not to demean what seems like a good place with genuinely good food, but to encourage grace, especially with first time customers that are trying to enjoy their night without making things harder on staff.

Please practice kindness as a default, and I will try to do the same. Maybe I was an annoying customer asking questions. I do wish this restaurant the best and once again will say that this may have just been a bad day and we are all allowed those.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Si Tapas – Uptown Dallas

Si Tapas is one of those rare Dallas gems that feels like it was lifted straight out of Spain and tucked quietly into Uptown. The restaurant is set inside a converted home, which gives it an intimate, cozy vibe you just can’t fake. It feels hidden in the best way — like you’re in on a secret everyone else walks right past.

The tapas are beautifully done, the wine list is legit, and the staff has that warm, effortless service that makes the night flow. Whether you’re out for a date night, catching up with friends, or just want to escape the typical loud Uptown scene, Si Tapas nails it every time.

If you’re looking for a place with charm, character, and truly delicious small plates, this is it. One of my favorite tucked-away spots in Dallas.

I’ve been here before and I used to love his food. I just came back there. I wanted to watch Real Madrid game and the waitress was just giving a bad vibe s she didn’t let us sit where we wanted and we sat there on the corner wondering if she was gonna serve us so we left

The potatoes braves with cured ham and eggs. They served this with French fries instead of the classic potato. The waiter tried to tell me this is what they do in Spain. I have Spanish grandparents and visit often. Iv never had this ever with French fries and none of my other Spanish friends have. It was extremely bland and I was very disappointed with it. The octopus was cut so thin it just ruined the dish. What little there was it did taste good though. Maybe I order wrong but not impressed.

Si Tapas is always an excellent choice! The food and service are consistently superb. However, it can get kinda noisy when they get more full. People shouldn't have to shout in order to be heard by people at their own table. But one noisy table raises the volume that other tables have to overcome, and it grows from there.

Had a pre-Opera get-together (Carmen, so wanted a Spanish theme. Ordered from Si Tapas and the staff was very helpful answering my questions and getting my order. Pick-up went smoothly and they even offered to help carry the order to my car. Food was great and my guests raved about it, especially the pan perdido with ice cream for dessert.

Best kept secret in Uptown! Quaint yet exotic experience that transports you to the heart of Spain. Amazing ambiance and even better tapas choices.

This place has so many appetizing options. Better to go with many people so that you can get a larger variety, and that you can share.
The portions are on the small side , but that is the point of tapas. I consider that idea benefit because then we can try even more of what the menu offers. Plenty of alcoholic options.
This is located in a quiet residential neighborhood with some cool shops.

I’m sad to do this and normally have no complaints about restaurants but our meal here last night was such a bummer. We walked in and were first confronted with an overpowering smell of Fabuloso cleaner and a bartender and hostess who were so busy flirting that we had to interrupt in order to be seated.

We opted to sit outside because of the smell and they seated us directly next to another couple in a large space filled with empty tables, making for awkward dinner conversation, being that we were all practically at the same table.

There were so many bugs that the drinks they brought us both had flies in them before even reaching us. The waitress noticed this, served them to us anyway, and made me ask to swap it out, acting surprised when I pointed it out.

Finally, the food was awful. Not Spanish food. It was like they ran to Aldi, uncanned olives and artichokes, threw store-bought tapenade on stale bread, and called it a day. Each item we ordered was either so underwhelming that we wondered why we hadn’t just cooked dinner at home or was actively unpleasant, like the chicken which was somehow both dry and greasy at the same time.

Sharing so that the restaurant can hopefully take the opportunity to improve.

I moved away from Dallas, but I miss this place so much. I went here twice to treat myself after big days. Patatas Bravas, of course, were amazing. The wine selection is perfect. The tapas are amazing, delicious, authentic tapas and really make you feel like you’re back in Spain The serving sizes are pretty fair for the quality, too!!

I miss Si Tapas so much!! I hope you enjoy!
