My friends and I grabbed lunch here and were so excited to try it as we walk by it a lot and have never been. The food was great and it came out quickly. The first thing that took this review down a few stars was the price of the meal. Our total was $170 for 5 people to order lunch and no alcohol. $7 for a canned Diet Coke seems extreme even for a restaurant in Dallas. The second is that we were not made aware that an auto gratuity was added to groups of 5 or more. I realize this was on the menu so that part is on us for not noticing, however it's nowhere posted that we could see, nor does it mention it when you book through Resy as most restaurants do. Lastly, we were told that they were only able to split our check into 2 instead of individual tickets because that's all their system allows. Again, this would be something worth mentioning to larger groups (ours was 5) at the beginning of the meal to avoid the awkwardness/frustration that could occur when it's time to pay the check. Overall, highly recommend for a yummy lunch, but not sure we'd go back because of these reasons.

Convenient downtown spot with high quality American dishes! A little pricey but also tasty! Loved the chicken sandwich.

Terrible Experience – Not Allergy-Friendly at All

This was one of the worst dining experiences we've ever had. My wife is vegetarian and has a few food allergies, but the restaurant refused to make any modifications to the fixed menu. We were told no changes could be made, even when we explained her dietary restrictions.

Despite this, they still charged us $58 and wouldn’t refund the deposit. Neither of the managers was willing to help or offer any alternatives. We ended up leaving and going to another restaurant that was much more accommodating.

Mother’s Day was completely ruined. Do NOT go here if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies. Paid 150$ deposit for the reservation

The food and staff is exceptional; however, it is regrettable that their leader, Joe (manager), displays rudeness and a lack of consideration towards returning guests.

He would benefit from coaching and counseling.

Breakfast was pretty good and reasonable value. Full breakfast a little on the small side.

Great restaurant that I’ve been to 50+ times (I worked just above it)

Would recommend the fried calamari, prime beef burger (it’s incredible), saffron capellini, and lobster carbonara

This was unfortunately the worst experience we've had at this restaurant, despite being regulars. My wife and daughter are loyal customers and have always loved dining here, but tonight was a major disappointment. I ordered the new Lobster Carbonara item, and something was clearly off. The pasta was drenched in an overwhelming amount of sauce, so much so that it completely overpowered the flavors of the lobster and pancetta. I mentioned this to our waitress, but she insisted that this was the normal portion of sauce, which made no sense. There was enough sauce for three servings, while the pasta itself was quite small in portion. The sauce-to-pasta ratio was completely off, and I found myself wiping off the excess just to enjoy it. Overall, it was a very underwhelming dish that didn't meet the usual high standards we've come to expect from this restaurant.

Really enjoyed our dinner at Sloane's Corner. We had a variety of items and all of them were excellent. Every staff member was legitimately friendly and efficient. We were sat at a nice table near the front windows but unfortunately the sun glaring off the neighboring building was blinding us so they cheerfully moved us to another table. Great Happy Hour, too! We'll be back!

Everything was so fresh and so delicious. It was our first time there and we were heading to an event at the Dallas Museum of Art. We decided to get several of the 'share plates' and they did not disappoint. Delicious.

Food is dependably good. We had a new somewhat non-trained server unfortunately for a business lunch. I often will slip my credit card to the server as we are ordering just to let them know it's one ticket and I am paying. Mistake #1- they brought the check during the meal. Instead of asking if anyone wanted dessert. Mistake #2 was- when I looked inside the folder at the check, she did not include the itemized check- we were a large party and it said “additional tip” which is fine but I would like to review the charges. She was unclear on the normal process and it was awkward. I finally got across to her what I needed but it made more of a scene with my business lunch guests than I wanted.

I have never witnessed such incompetence.
