Smoky Rose Reviews
Worst food i’ve had in a while.I had the 2 meat combo sliced brisket and ribs and an appetizer of jal. poppers. Brisket was cold, nothing but fat. Same with ribs, cold and just fat. Popper’s were stuffed with like a gelatin mess, bacon around popper was not cooked properly.
Your food actually made me sick and caused the s—ts. My parent’s were also there and didn’t like it.
Worst meal yet today, last strike for this place! Hard deviled eggs, food so salty you couldn’t eat it. Sausage swimming in grease. And to top it off literally hundreds of flies all over your food and swarming tables… so gross all the way around.
Amazing ambiance, great service to

Smoky Rose, a restaurant in Dallas, offers a mixed dining experience. The chicken fried smoked prime brisket and brisket fajitas receive high praise for their tenderness and flavor. The brisket queso is also a popular starter among customers. However, the Mac and cheese falls short with its lack of sauce and flavor. The service can be inconsistent, with issues like incorrect seating and delays in providing utensils and the bill. Although the music can be intolerably loud, making conversation difficult, the staff is friendly and attentive. The restaurant's lively atmosphere, especially during celebrations like Cinco de Mayo, adds to its appeal. Overall, Smoky Rose provides a varied dining experience, with both highlights like phenomenal food and drinks and disappointments in service aspects. The space is large and private, suitable for different occasions, and they easily accommodate large parties, making it a lovely choice for gatherings.
