We had a trip to Dallas and my sons 25 th birthday was falling in those days. I searched for bakeries who could do a custom cake. Talked to a few but finally went with Soonjas bakery. Time was too short and I wanted a specific cake since my son is an f1 fan. Mr Soonja was very helpful and polite and agreed to do the cake in 2 days and would deliver to the hotel where we were staying. It was delivered at exact time what was on the order and was 100% like the pucture I had sent. Thank you so much for making my sons special day extra special.👍

In one phone call the day before my lady’s birthday I placed an order and James made this beautiful red velvet cake AND delivered it with flowers to me at my hotel. She is an airline captain and her favorite cake is red velvet. The cake looked good and it actually tastes good too. Perfect for adults bc it wasn’t too sweet to eat. 10/10 !

I went there with mixed feelings in my mind as I was trying something new and I wanted it to be perfect surprise for my daughter who herself bakes very well and a little hard to satisfy. My instructions were to keep it simple and chocolate dripping on sides.. Baker graciously added chocolate bars on the top to look better. My daughter and guests loved it... the taste was very good.. cake was very moist.. We absolutely love this place and would definitely recommend for any large party or gathering.

James was great to work with! He let me take pictures of it before packing it up and made sure to tell me how to best transport it and when to pull it out of the fridge for the best results! Beautiful cake made for my friend’s 22nd birthday! She loved it and was so excited to see everything put together! Everyone deserves to be celebrated so if you’re second guessing if you should buy one, just do it because the smiles and the memories are worth it 💛

I asked James to make a lego cake for my son's 5th birthday. I sent him an inspiration picture I found online. He was very responsive to my inquiries and flexible when I requested some modifications. The cake he made was stunning. My son was so happy when he saw it and ran towards James to give him a hug. I didn't expect it to taste exception as the design was more what I cared about, but it was truly delicious. The sponge was moist and so flavorful (the top was strawberry and bottom chocolate). The cake was a huge hit -- one of the best ones I'd had. I highly recommend Soon Ja's Bakery!

After wandering around 10s of bakeries in whole Dallas and nearby cities, I found this bakery. The online reviews were convincing and we wanted to give it a shot. The girl at the reception Jenny, she was extremely nice and kind, took our requirements (exact color and flavor) and helped in delivering what was promised to us. The owner who makes the cake is also too nice and his cakes are commendable. The sweetness of the cake is optimum and cake is soft & moist to eat. They made the exact cake as we showed them the pic. The cake was chocolate, it was so moist & delicious. Was concerned that it just looked good rather than tasting good, but it tasted amazing.
