Was stopping by the liquor store next door and noticed the smell of bbq. Stopped over and spoke the the man Sosa himself, and was met with 10/10 customer service and a genuine desire to share his craft with this east Dallas community. I ordered the brisket, and the baked potato and let me tell you, it’s absolute fire. Coming from someone who frequents Cattleack and Terry Blacks. Such a gem, and for a fraction of the price of those big names. Can’t wait to become a regular!

Was at the Dallas Farmers Market and saw this smoke show. They had an old Dodge dually pulling a smoker. Sosa’s BBQ set up this pop-up and boy am I glad! We got a sliced brisket sandwich, which comes in a brioche bun and “el perrito”, it’s chopped brisket and jalapeño cheddar sausage on top of what was some of the creamiest Mac n cheese I’ve ever had. So creamy my wife thought it was mashed potatoes at first look, she described it as a “Mac n cheese Alfredo” because of the richness and consistency. I have not been to their brick and mortar location but we will certainly be checking it out sometime soon!
Vegetarian options: Mac N Cheese is so rich, it can certainly be its own meal.

Boyfriend and I arrived at Sosa’s food truck HUNGRY!!!!!!! We were greeted by Jenny, super sweet cashier, and the man himself SOSA! Always a pleasure to see them. ? Got our food and with just one bite I said “ I am not trying any other bbq spot because I found THE one ! “ Got the brisket, mac n cheese, potato salad, jalapeño cheddar sausage, and brisket quesadilla. ? ? ? Y’all make sure to get there early to get a bite of all his other menu items! They sell fast cause they are so damn good! Best BBQ I’ve ever had. Craving the food again. Gonna have to stop by Saturday before work to grub. ? ?
