Good place to grab a drink before the wife lands at Love Field.

I had the Reuben and it was a tad skimpy. The Corned Beef was nothing more than Hillshire Farms that you would purchase in any grocery store and with hardly any Sauerkraut.
Normal drink prices for a hotel bar.

Returning from Houston, the Vonlane bus stops at the Doubletree Hotel, At the SPG (Dallas) I got 3 meals for the next couple of days : Hamburger sliders, tuna croissant and a shrimp cocktail. From there, I take Uber to Grand Prairie Texas. The staff is very helpful and they pack the food carefully. ♡

We were looking for a place close to the airport for lunch prior to our flight, and Sports Page Grill seemed to fit the bill nicely. It has a nice atmosphere for a sports bar, though unless you're sitting at the bar the TV setup isn't the best if your main objective is to watch sports. Prices are also reasonable for a hotel restaurant.

Parking: Free 2 hour parking for restaurant guests.

Bartender Felipe at best is clueless and at worst likes to rip people off.

As a Hilton diamond I have a $15 food and beverage credit. I saw this sign on the way in. I figured I'd get a Blood & Orange IPA and a Jack & Coke. $12 total. Remainder of my credit can cover tax & tip.

He charges me $5 for the beer (I had asked for "the IPA you have on special."), and $12 for the Jack & Coke. I say "Isn't the Jack & Coke on a $7 special? I saw it on the sign." He says "Not that I know of. I'll go look." He does, then concedes the Jack & Coke is $7, but rings up the IPA at $8, saying he didn't see that on the specials board.

At that point I was done. I said fine, charge the Jack & Coke to my card and charge the IPA to my room. I even tipped him well, not that I should have. He got what he wanted.

Either make sure your bartenders are aware of the specials or if that's not the problem, then ensure they are honest. Specials board is crystal clear. This should not have been an issue, but it was.

We stopped in for drinks only so I may not rate their food but, the bartender is a master. Great pours. Friendly service. Stop in any time you're waiting for a flight; whether your own or picking up someone

Cheer Dears!!!

Place is lovely and I stay here often when in town.
Food is off the charts, breakfast buffet is top notch, and bartenders have heavy hands.

Only rating on the breakfast: the buffet is pretty weak given the high price ($25). It's a glorified Hampton Inn variety for the buffet, plus a menu you can order from a la carte. If you're staying here it's fine, but not worth the price if you're dropping in. Make sure your coffee pot isn't cold.
