Cool location for sure. Little thrift shop down the street. Right off the city vibes, so not with all the buildings but plenty of action and stores all around.

I ordered a Ham and Swiss croissant and a medium hot coffee. My coffee was either forgotten or the order sticker was lost, and I ended up waiting so long that my food went cold. When I asked about my coffee, the staff showed no interest—one employee completely ignored me after asking for my name like she was annoyed I was bothering her. Then I had to ask another to finally make it. I even had to ask for my croissant to be reheated because of the delay. I understand you are busy but at least give customers the time of day when they ask politely. Don’t just ignore them and go about your business. Check the cameras between 8:30am and 8:55am on November 11 to see the whole interaction. I couldn’t not have been more patient.

I understand that this location is located in an area with a high poverty rate. However, codes on the bathrooms is so classless. It does not stop a homeless person from obtaining the necessary amount to make a purchase to use the bathroom. It’s inhumane and an inconvenience. Shame on you Starbucks. Honestly, I don’t expect much from a coporation that is in support of the war on Gaza.

So that I can appropriately update my review can Starbucks please explain what is the difference in the amount of liquid in oz that I pay for with my money when I ask for a venti ICED drink, and a grande ICED drink? 2nd question, how does that change (fluid oz) when one asks for light ice vs. ‘regular ice’ ?
I live near this location and always come. Placed an order through the Mobile app today ~ 1:38 p.m. (1 coffee 1 croissant) coffee came out ~ 1:50 p.m. but not the croissant. Place wasn’t busy and I saw how other ppl got their orders before me so I approached the register. A guy with “Sway” written on his name tag immediately rolled his eyes and me. I told him what happened while l looked for the receipt. He gave me the croissant and you could tell he was super annoyed by it.

Only giving a 1 star bc the team member I spoke to on the phone was so polite if I could give zero I would.
The guy working the drive through on 8/27 at 10:09 am was quite literally the worst counter service employee I have ever encountered. My drink came out the window and I immediately was like I don’t think this is the right drink it’s usually cold brew on the bottom and cold foam on the top (the entire drink was light brown/white) he then said you can try it to see if you like it. I tasted it like he said and was like oh no this is not what it usually tastes like. Can you take it back and he said no. You put your lips on it. He then proceeded to say it’s the drink I ordered. I pulled the app up saw what I ordered and the photo on the app and I was given the incorrectly made drink. I realized he didn’t care what the guest wanted or even knew the menu at this point so I said you can’t throw it away the drink and he said no, so I said ok I’m going to just leave it here on the counter in the drive through and he said ok but your litering. Take the drink you made wrong and make it right or throw it out. Common sense. He was rude, arrogant and quite frankly didn’t give a single care. I’m not sure he’s cut out for putting the guest first and even the hospitality industry if this is how he responded after one incorrect drink. I would be utterly embarrassed to have an employee like this work for me or any company I represented.
There are so many coffee places in Dallas and in oaklawn specifically that would not treat any guest that way and would even remake the drink or at least give a refund. If you’re going to pay for a fall flavored drink this year go to any other coffee place like la la land, bloom, Whole Foods, LDU, merit, summer moon or meteor as none of the places listed above have ever treated me or anyone I know the way I was treated today. The cherry on top is you can’t get a refund unless you go back to the store - even though all my data is through their software and app.

Stopped in at 650 on Tues Aug 26 and they were closed but the door was open. We asked if we could just look at their cups and they said we couldn't come in. So I said ok can you show us the cups in the drive thru and they laughed and said there are like 25 different cups so no. Very rude looser women that was apparently in charge.

I stopped going to this location because of the blinding spotlight they have shining in your eyes in the morning drive thru, and then you have to drive thru seeing spots in your vision from it.

I would not recommend this place at all. I stopped by and asked for the bathroom code shortly after walking in. The guy asked me if I made a purchase yet. What do you mean? I just walked in the door. Dude, yeah I’m planning on grabbing a coffee. I told him that I always support Starbucks when I visit. Can I please have the code? “No sir, not until you purchase something”. I honestly felt highly disrespected that I need to expedite a coffee purchase for a few dollars before I can use the restroom. I decided to withdraw my support and this has left a really bad taste in my mouth and rethinking about supporting Starbucks more broadly. It was an extremely hostile interaction and just overall weird. I have given incredible amounts of support to Starbucks over many years and I think this is really very disrespectful.
